Just put in a request. That's where I got LSL6 CD. They mostly post older new games, but when you ask, they post old-old stuff. What are you looking for though? I have an extensive AW collection.

Hey J3RK...

I got an email form Anna Adams, she is starting the planning committee for the 10 year reunion.

Can you believe it’s been 10 years? And that we’ve been friends for like 13 years. Amazing how time slips by...

I didn't graduate from there though. I got my diploma through the college when I did running start. (That's how I got out of doing my senior project and graduated early.) :D I don't think I'm welcome there. [TEE HEE HEE] I don't think I'd go anyway. Interesting though. You are the only person I still speak to that was in our grade. Ahh, 13 years ago, the C64 swapping began. The death of Bobbaly Bo, the introduction of a tool that was commonly referred to as a modem (1200 baud Hayes no less,) and the late night playing of many a console game. Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!

Oh poor bobaly bo. Almost forgot about him, and how he got drawn and quartered, and somehow ended up behind the cabinet.

Did my dad bring home those modems or somthing? I remember whe had a hell of a time with the jumpers. I sure dont miss jumpers.

Man im glad we started getting into modems, gave us a good 5 year head start.

Your dad brought home a 1200bps Hayes external modem. That got us started. That and the PSCU BBS list. Ahh yeah! Then I got a pile of several modems from Allen. A few 1200bps and a 2400 or two. I put in a 2400bps one, and you either used the Z-Modem 12 or was it Y-Modem 12? Then you got a 2400bps. That was around the time of the Starport intro. :D Then I got a "9600 bps" modem from Allen that turned out to be a 14.4 right when those were just hitting. That's around the Virtual Realities/Aftermath beginning. That's about the time I got the "retro" TG-16 too. (Remember when I ripped the top off?) I can't remember why I did that. It wasn't for the Turbo booster plus mod that I did, because I used my second (non-ripped up one,) for that. For that matter, why did I have two working TG-16s? Then you got one too. That's 3 TG-16s at the end of their life-cycle. Puzzling. Good stuff.

Were the best data's 28.8 then?

As far as tg-16. I had your ripped up one for awhile, i cant remember why id have yours, or where mine went (first one) and i seem to remember my grandma giving me another one later, a used one? That sound familiar?

Why the hell did you mess up the tg-16... it was all ugly afgter that.

There was a good reason for it at the time. I still really can't figure out why I had two of them. I was attempting some kind of modification, but the screws weren't standard, so I had to rip it apart. They weren't Torx, Hex, or any standard security bit that I know of. They were weird. I don't know what I was trying to get at in there though. When I made my own Turbo Booster Plus, I just tapped off of the pins that connected to the CD drive addon. (stereo sound, video, etc.) You got one from your grandma, I bought one for $40 new, and I ended up with another one somehow. I still might have one actually. :D

A new version of Magic Engine is coming out in a couple months. Quite fancy. www.magicengine.com

I got a working Dreamcast emulator. I've been playing Ikaruga on it. Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!! It's called Chankast. Give it a whirl. Do you still have all those games you were collecting for it?

That reminds me. I need a rip of Azurik. I bought it, but I can't use it with the emulator. I have to have all of the files that sit on the game disc (which a standard PC DVDROM will not read without hacked firmware.) Or if someone can transfer it for me using a modded XBox, that would be cool. I have to be able to run the XBE file directly, which can't be done with my current setup. I want to play me some Azurik.

If i had azurik, that could be possible.

I bought a TG-16, so did you. Then my grandma gave me a used one she got at a garage sale, I think i gave it to you since yours was all fuxored.

Seems that Atari is issuing a very ROM-like collection of classic games with their "Atari Anthology" series.

I'm always up for Power Golf. I need to make controller profiles for the Joymaster in Magic Engine, unless we do the 2 player mode where we trade off with the gamepad. Of course there is Mario Golf for the Gamecube as well, for a more relaxed, sit-on-the-couch experience. I haven't played it since a month or two after I got it. I think I unlocked all the courses too. It's time for some Autumn-Nintendory-Pockery. This is the time of year that I like to play console games. I need to get an extra-long S-Video cable that will reach from the computer to the TV. Everything else should reach. (I got that USB hub, so now the controllers reach all over the place.) Still have to start the game from the computer area though.

Splendid. How close are you to sea level? You may be sending it up to me. I live a couple hundred feet above sea level I think. :D Wow, this is going to be quite the package. I'm rather excited to get it. Image

When might the product ship?

Eeek... I have to wait until October to use my Giganews feed again. (I have about 200MB to go, but that's the emergency buffer.) I didn't look it up, but I wonder if I pay for a bigger limit if it goes on my Comcast bill. If so, then I might do it. I just don't want to pay an extra bill.
