You bastard! Go back to the messenger conversation and see where I said: "Forward port 7777."

prove it. I think you're making it all up.

BTW, that didn't work either. My router doesn't wanna let anyone near my internal network no matter what I try, it must have some buried setting somewhere incorrectly set. But I still think you're making it all up. Liar.

We need to coordinate a massive monkey multiplayer showdown. 6+ monkeys would be ideal, with the server locked down to keep all the lagged up "Player"'s out.

So, I let Choki borrow my discs. He's got it installed, and ready to play. He's using my key. Will that matter if we play on Sleeeph-Serv, or the like? I know you can use generated keys, but can two people be on at the same time with the same key? Discuss...

Im feeling a bit veclempt...

Two keys should be fine on the beeeph serve-o-matc. So long as he has fixed his router.

I dont think you will be able to serve anymore, unless choki is not anywhere online.

The sleeeph-serv requires mass maintainance. Field techs are currently in the process of getting her back online.

If i can't get her up in time, spidermonkey may have to crack his copy, otherwise the MCP will invalidate him. Ahh the MCP...I remember when it was just a chess program!

Everyone should buy the top three (Monkey Picked) shooters. The ones that we all might actually play together. I'm thinking Doom 3, UT 2004, and maybe Battlefield or whatever the cool tactical vehicle having war-game is these days. I'd be willing to pick up what I don't have. It sucks to take an hour or two to get ready to play, and then play for 15 minutes. I'm also quite happy to serve when I can, because my system is as happy as a little girl. (>>) <---to be read in Deiter's voice from Sprockets.

Do you know how many systems the MCP has gone into? Do you know how many programs it's appropriated? We can't afford to have an independent program online, monitoring it.

End of Line...

Oh, I don't mind cracking mine. Is it located in the standard places? I would be happy to serve, especially after I get my new CPU. I may not have the best upstream out of all of us, but it should do for a few players. (256)

How do I obtain the rights to throw down with you chaps? Is there going to be a Clan-like tryout to verify my worthiness?

Found a great little 5mb game with bots and MP, Counter-Strike 2D. Check it out http://www.cs2d.com/ download it from fileplanet or any other source.

well since my router's still down, someone else would have to host. I think sometime around 10:30pm pst would be good for some of the monkeys who work late, but enderzero's gonna have to figure out a way to drug his roommates :wasted:

I was out last night, how about tonight? I'll host, but I still need to crack mine.

Clown: That CS thing looks nice. I'm going to have to try it when I get home. Now we don't have tryouts. I'm just regaining my shooter skills right now. I've been playing too many Ultima games lately, and have started to suck. I have put myself on a stringent Q3A/UT2004 regimen, so I should be tip-top again soon. I've gained my sniping skills back, but I need a little work on the close up stuff.

I wish Doom3 was going to be 8 player instead of 4. We'll have to get two separate games going, then rotate winning and losing players out or something like that. We'll have Lose-Serv and Win-Serv. :D

We had some more bugs last night, but they seem to be all worked out.

you should forward port 7777-7778, and then get this file and put it in your ut system directory. Thats it. Oh and i got the bots all worked out too.

And we enabled map voting which was very cool, right beeeph?

I found a great onslaught level, its called on-camo. Oh and we also have to play Comence the jiglin in jigglebilly favorite map "DM-KillbillyBarn by Teddie "teddabod" Tapawan"

beeeph gives map voting Image

Those few new maps we tried last night were great, especially killbilly barn. There's something about killing people to the sound of dueling banjos that truly brings out the warrior inside of me. I tried a new CTF map last night called CBP-Deep that would be fun if we had a few more monkeys in the arena.

I down for a game tonight, just give me a time.

Probably be around 10:00-11:00 for me tonight. I saw that killbilly map, but I haven't tried it yet. Deep is pretty cool. That Skorbut one is the best though. (With the Chinese floating boats, and the crazy swirling clouds below.) Fun stuff. I also like CTF-MoonDragon. Let's have a beer bust up at the MooooonDragon. :D

I'll put in my fancy-schmanse new proc when I get home. Upgrades for the MCP. Someone needs to make a really good Tron level for UT. An assault map, with tanks and light-cycles. The hover bikes could be modded to light-cycles, and the tanks could be modded to the Tron style tanks. The aircraft could be Recognizers. That would be fun!!

10:00ish might be good for me tonight. I still have to get part b of the community pack thingy because internet went away for a while (probably Ryland's fault...)

All inconvenient outages of any kind are his fault. He does it on purpose, and then doesn't tell anybody until they go to use the service and it isn't there. If I didn't know any better, and maybe I don't, I'd say that he was the Sigma Leader.

Post by Roger Ramjet »

....for a game of Call of Duty with you monkeys this weekend (friday night mankey monkey time). McNevin has seen the light, and teh Mr. sparkle and I have downloaded some nifty new mini maps suitable for 2-8 playas which are hella fun. We had a go with Mr.S hosting and much mirth and hilarity was had by all involved. Without putting too fine a point on it, I think our session was considerably more productive than the dog's breakfast you guys seemed to have going last weekend. :D

So how about sharing the MP love with me
and getting down with some CoD,
it will be a session filled with glee,
That I guarantee.
You can see how shitty I can be, with an MP40.
And you can see Ender write "that is bullshit" repeatetly! :toontears:

Unfortunately Friday night PMT is undoable for me. We are having a party at my house of epic proportions. I had no idea people partied this hard in Santa Barbara, and everyone keeps telling me this is nothing compared to after school starts in the Fall. I live on the main ocean drag and street absolutely fills up with people on Thurs-Sat nights. Our party will have a live band and a DJ, 4 kegs, and likely 500+ people. My room is the ocean room and the coolest pad and the DJ will be on the balcony so it will be the VIP lounge. Let me know if anyone can make it and I will put you on the guest list (seriously).
