Hey everyone, this forum is actually cookin a little. That is awesome! I would love if everyone stuck around. I may be a little slow on the replies for the next couple weeks as I go to Hong Kong and move to Tokyo, but I will try to pop on here as much as possible. So thanks to everyone posting!
As for this thread - I am going to experiment with the poll option and see how it works.

I don't really follow the news. I live in my own neatly self-contained world, where I am the Emporer and I am not often questioned. Or something like that anyway. I obviously belong to the portions of society that I have to in order to survive comfortably, but that's the extent of it. I don't really want to know about anyone but me, my family, my friends, and other miscellaneous loved ones. That's why I'm able to be rather laid back with minimal stress. It's a pretty nice way to live I've found. I deal with things only when they step into my realm.
