Famicom SP

You seen this? Is it out in the states? A Gameboy SP that plays Advance games and special Famicom (NES) games carted to GBA carts.

Like Mappy.

But the beauty is if you can use the same add on you can use with the SP and dump a bunch of roms onto a compact flash card. A portable NES and GBA with hundreds of game the size of an iPod!

... but what is available is a 256Mbit flash cartridge with a USB cable that will allow the uploading of GBA roms, emulators and roms, and other non-game software to the GBA. There is even a music editor for making tracks on. I heard one that was amazing. I never knew such bass could eminate from the Gameboy. There are NES emulators that run on it. There is a SNES emu in the works. And a bunch of other stuff. I NEEEEED on of those cartridges. I could haul around a ton of NES games on one of those.

It's Official: Classic NES Series
All of the details on Nintendo's upcoming retro packs!

March 26, 2004 - It's been rumored and speculated on for weeks, but today Nintendo has exclusively revealed to us the details on the US equivelant of the Famicom Mini series.

The collection will be called Classic NES Series, and will begin as a limited edition NES Game Boy Advance SP as well as a line-up of eight classic games released during the Nintendo Entertainment System days of nearly 20 years ago.
The NES Game Boy Advance SP will feature a very unique color scheme that matches the original NES controller's look. It will, of course, play any Game Boy, Game Boy Color, and Game Boy Advance game.

... to lik a... I mean get a lik sang cartridge. I think that is my next purchase. Since there is a music editor for GB, I could put it on there, and make music when I'm not at home. Woooo Woooooo!!! I wish they'd make a keypad attachment, so someone could make a C64 emulator for it. Imagine that, a C64 in your pocket. There would be nothing cooler.
