Have you used this feature yet?
XboxMediaPlayer is a free open source (GPL) multimedia player for the Xboxâ„¢ from Microsoft. Currently the XboxMediaPlayer can be used to play and view supported video/audio/picture formats such as MPEG, DivX, XVID, MPG, MP3, JPG and more direct from a CD/DVD in the Xboxâ„¢ DVD-ROM or of the Xboxâ„¢ hard disk drive, it can also play files from a PC over a LAN / network via an XNS (XStream Server) software or from a windows (SMB) share.
- Stream video/audio/pictures directly from a ISO/BIN/IMG/ZIP files via RelaX

The time has come for the girls of Dead or Alive Beach Volleyball to be finally NUDE! No more teasers. Its just stars and hearts right now but hopefully they'll be replaced with the real thing soon Great job to all the contributers who made this possible and read this if you want to follow the super long thread. The patch and instructions can be downloaded at the New Uploads category in the Game Saves section. Enjoy!

Your pasting all kinds of things I have already read. Except the nude patch has apparently been updated with real textures. Have you payed that game? The Volleyball sucks but the game is alright. There is a big casino which is a little fun and the graphics are out of this world.
For all you ever need to know about the scene - go to www.xbox-scene.com.
XBMP is one of the coolest pieces of SW ever. It works so well. You mod your box yet?
Best Homebrew:
XBMP (although relax has problems)
XsnesX
boXplorer
evoX (obviously)
xcopy (not great but necessary for any modded box)
With these only you would have a crankin system.
MAME works pretty well, but has a few problems. I can't play a bunch of the new games with the Xbox's measily 64MB.
XsnesX is the only emu that supports state saving. (How can you emu without) And it is slick! Great Emu.

I also want a mod-chip.
It's been low on my list though, since I've been so busy with my PC stuff. I don't even really have enough time for that. SUXOR
I'm...
... quite aware of the nearly endless possibilities of a modded x-box, but the thing is, I can do them all better with my PCs. The X-box is a toy, or at best a simple tool. I do like the idea of having all my cartoons in the living room, and all the other nifty bits, but it's really not that important to me, especially with the way I'm already set up. Also, with a few exceptions, I enjoy PC games much more than X-BOX games. I still plan to get a mod chip for my trusty x-BoX, but it still doesn't rank high. I also want to build something tiny based on one of those micro ITX VIA boards. Probably the top-o-the-line 933 with 5.1 audio. I would get one of those NLX notebook dvd/cdr combo drives, make a tiny-tiny little aluminium {[(TEE HEE)]} (I spelled it Brit style) case, and have instant movie, cartoon, 2D game, device in about one eighth the size of the X-box. Just a thought.

Yes D0 was a major bitch. Did you do the top or bottom? I did the bottom (after trying the top 4 or 5 times the bottom proved considerably easier) and then taped it down. Is beeeph's a version 1 or 1.1 (1.1 has no solder so you can use the pin adapter without a solder sucker). You used an X2 right?
What's wrong? Little beeephy can't mod his own Xbox???

I did the D0 on the top. I did it twice, it fell off the first time. The seccond time was solid, i could even yank on it.
Beeephs was a 1.1, but it had the solder points filled. Some of the 1.1's are like that.
The problem we ran into was the HD jumper. I was told to use cable select, but it turned out to need to be on master. What brand of HD did you use? We used a maxtor, and it locked as easy as pie. Did you get your HD to lock?

Mine is a WD1200BB. Can't remember how I set the jumper now, but it worked first try. Did you use "xhdprepa"?
No I didn't lock my hdd. There isn't really any reason too, especially if you don't wire a switch (did you wire a switch?). I guess there is a program out now called "configmagic" that will do it automatically anyway. Let me know if you see that, I haven't gone looking for xbox software updates in a long time.
My biggest problem now is that I don't have a TV in my new place. So I probably won't be playing too much xbox here for a while. Sucks too because I want to finish Chronotrigger - but I have been playing it on XsnesX. errr

No you didn't...
... now stop lying!!!
Poor...
... Isonews guy. They totally made an example of him. Can you believe the sentence they stuck to him for selling items that people can modify their own hardware with? That is absolutely insane. Imagine you were some x-box chip selling dork-type-guy and they drop you in the pen. Yikes. I imagine you'd look like this icon.

Nice work on the DVDRW. I am sure that is being well enjoyed.
MAMEoX (very different form MAME-X) does run out of memory on a dozen or so of the newer NeoGeo ROMs (da box has 64MB which I think it shares a chunk of with the video subsystem) but MAMEoX tells you which ROMs it does not support for less forehead slapping frustration. However, Kawa-X does play some of the newer NeoGeo games (Metal Slug 5, etc.). I have not yet tried it with Landmaker, the one game that notably does not play in MAMEoX.
Interestingly enough, while I was looking for the above pic I found this.
Apparently Landmaker was released for Playstation as well!! Well then, if I can find that ROM then I can play it on XPort's awesome PCSXbox.
