Heaven sent Hotmail??
What is up with the new hotmail? No spam!!
When i first "obtained" my email address I used to get over 100 spam messages a day. My inbox would fill up twice a week.
Now I can actually use it as an email address instead of just for messenger which I gave up the idea of long long ago.
Same for others? SpiderMonkey?

I also...
... hate the new interface. There's an extra click involved, and it's in the middle of the page, so I can't just mouse left and home in on the inbox link. Bleh. Minor complaint though. I'm probably the only person on the planet that didn't get spammed to death with hotmail before. I'd get 1 or 2 penis enlargement ads a day, and a prescription drug ad every other day or so, but that was it. I never blocked anyone because I didn't think it worked, so I don't know how my spam intake was that low. Now I don't get the couple of ads I did get before. It's quite nice.

Hotmail:
I don’t know what the new web interface looks like because I haven’t used it.
I recently added hotmail integration into my outlook, which works pretty well for me.
I have noticed that my spam count has gone down, but I still receive a decent amount of spam.
The only thing that I do not like about the whole thing is the fact that it has slowed my sending and receiving of pop mail, because outlook synchronizes the hotmail inbox every time you hit send and receive. I could hit send and receive ender mail only, but that is a hassle. I think that there is some sync setting I can monkey with, but I haven't dug that deep yet.
So that’s my 2 cents worth... oh and office 2003 rocks.

I'm gonna have to go ahead and agree with you on Outlook2k3 rocking!
How cool is this interface?
Priority flagging has totally changed the way I handle email. I love the "Unread Mail" folder! Mail comes in and I can look at just what is new. Then I flag what I want to reply to later with its level of priority, delete what I don't need to save, and then sort what I want to keep. No more huge unsorted inbox. I can quickly look at what is what on the "For Follow Up" screen. On top of the cool new features they fixed the one thing that bugged me about Outlook XP - you can finally disable all the stupid Journal/My Outlook crap. And the contacts are better as well.
All in all I am very, very pleased!

solution to spam
have to hotmail accounts... give one out to anybody and the rest only to friends. no spam.
can use outlook instead of new hotmail interface. also you can get to your new mail from the today tab if you just click on it so there really isn't an extra one if you do that.
