Now I feel better about buying 8GB of RAM... w00t!

Apparently running two OSs at the same time with the usual amount of aps eats some memory up.

Interestingly enough the memory usage only goes up by 0.2GB after loading two other OSs...so yeah running 7,98,XP,XP64...

Probably should do a Linux install now...yeah...pretty much has to be a requirement I think.

Which one? Ubuntu?

Ubuntu is nice. I don't like their new window manager (can't remember what it's called,) but you can easily use KDE or Gnome3 with it. This is by far the best distribution for general use if you ask me. Nice installer, can install from USB stick, has tons of software available in the repositories, and seems to be widely adopted by tinkering tinkerers.
