Admiral McNevin...

Post by R3C »

What's the status on the cartoons these days? I haven't had time to set up any recording methods, I have no usenet access, and I don't watch TV anymore. I'd really like to get any new cartoons there might be. I think the last ones I got were when you still lived up here. Must get cartoons. Any luck with Home Movieses prior to the ones our collection start with? (i.e. the squiggly ones?) NNNEEEEEDDDD THEM........ MUST GET CARTOONS......... IF I COULD JUST.............

If there have been any new ones they haven't showed up on a.b.multimedia.space-ghost.

Haven't seen any Home Movies on there either. No film videos.

Not much of anything on there really.

I actually use pay usenet now. My isp's was too sketchy. Well worth it at $15 a month for unlimited DLs - 2mbps-ish cap and 6 concurrent connections. Its the best deal around - I checked. usenetserver.com.

I hadn't thought of that for a while. I should get a news account. I only have 640K dsl, but that's what overnight downloads are for. I should find Aki's email address and send it to you, (if you don't have it,) I'm sure he'd be up to flying over and hanging out. Just thought of that, because I was thinking about mailing you the id Collection, and then I thought, I wonder how long it takes for a package to get there through normal mail. And then I thought, Aki sent me some stuff, and it didn't take too long. Then I thought hmm, Aki lives within a couple hours of ender. Then I thought, hey I'll add that to my reply. Then I thought hmm, now I have to think of all the things I thought. Then I thought I'd better finish the id Collection or I can't send it. [TEE HEE HEE]

I got that job at sony, testing video games. So maybe I'll get a pay news server too.

Those are excellent scissors. Ascii I should think. Easily. Keep those, you can burn the rest. And keep your eye open for some good paste.

Work sux0rs...

Post by Bill Drayton Jr. »

WTF... I don't understand the bastards that "need to work" in order to have satisfaction in their fucking lives...

I mean what the fuck is wrong with someone that need the fucking structure that a full-time job gives them?!?!?!?!

Am I insane here or what? It fucking bugs me though... I could go on for the rest of my fucking life without having to fucking work and be immensely satisifed.

Maybe you can get to the point where you forget who you are and what life has to offer you WITHOUT the fucking career bullshit.

I mean I was in a fucking career with a bunch of people who had their life be their job. Is that pathetic? I almost don't know now. I mean I think it's fucking pathetic as fucking hell to have your job be your life. You can do anything! it doesn't take that much money to just live and be you. How coud someone get so into their job that they are blind to what the world has to offer them if they would just take advantage of it. It makes me sick I tell you....it's sad and pathetic...

Back in the day...

Post by Megatron »

...when I had to walk to school up hill both ways, in the middle of a blizzard, there was no such thing as a "job". If we needed food, we killed it, and if we needed water, we fetched it from the well! This concept of a "job" was only recently invented in the 19th Century. What happened to scrubbing our clothes in the river? Or pooping in a hole out behind the shack we built from bricks we made by hand out of mud and ground up wheat stocks which we plucked by hand!?!? It's madness, madness I say...and I for one am conforming to every bit of it! Wait....WTF am I doing??? Oh yeah...I have to or I'm socially unadept. RATS!
