Anything out now or on the horizon that looks promising? What are the state of movies out theatrically in Japan right now?
I am hoping ot catch:
Once Upon a Time in Mexico - the big budget Desperado follow up with Banderas and Depp.
Open Range - the western starring Robert Duvall and Kevin Costner
Lost in Translation - Sofia Coppola's new great movie about Bill Murray in Tokyo!
The School of Rock - has both Jack Black and John Cusack and it is directed by Richard Linklater. Look at this one to be sleeper.
The new Tarantino movie Kill Bill will be coming out in a couple weeks as well.
Some damn good stuff comin down the pipe.
What movies are you looking forward to?

We Aussies are probably a bit behind you guys. But anyway i recently saw Finding Nemo and Pirates of the Caribbean (sp?).
I quite enjoyed Finding Nemo. But i'm a bit biased because i used to have a couple of salt water tanks so i like all that underwater stuff. The animation was amazing as well. But it has been with the last ones too. It was nice to see Sydney in animated form.
Pirates was bloody good entertainment. Good bit of action, bit of humour chucked in and a good storyline. I though Depp did a wicked job on his character. Just awesome. The effects are pretty sweet too. Two very big thumbs up!
