What is the deal?

I have been somewhat guilty of posting semi-lighthearted ridiculousness in yon topic zone but have neglected posting here....for a while.

Is there no time for ridicule? Has everyone lost the touch of being in touch with being out of touch?

What happened? We used to be beautiful. Don't make me get *runken **icks0r!ed on you again! Actually that would be bad as he only had a few more escapades left in him before he would meet his timely demise. He was kind of scary. It has been 996 days since then...anyway...happy halloween.

Is it harder to be less serious nowadays? Why so serious? Maybe it would be easier to be serious while at the same time not so serious. Let us ponder upon the not-so-old age old saying of, "How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could Chuck Norris?"

I have an idea, I don't think it could do it that well but in all fairness perhaps we shall have to delve into the world of the woodchuck.

First off the woodchuck is formally known as the groundhog but that is just a semantic and really the focus should be on whether the groundhog is too small? Let us start with an acceptable pictoral example of a groundhog:

The groundhog is small relative to a human of Chucks size. But is a groundhog too small to chuck Chuck Norris?

The answer is a surprising NO.

A groundhog could chuck Chuck Norris by several definitions of the word chuck. It may be fair to say that most may regard the word chuck as slang for throw but in fact it is defined both as slang and as a formal part of the English language. According to dictionary.com it has several definitions that would prove it is possible for the groundhog to chuck Chuck.

The first definition of chuck is, "to toss; throw with a quick motion, usually a short distance." Alas, there are many obvious problems a groundhog would not be able to overcome to make chucking Chuck Norris possible - most notably the mass of Chuck Norris.

The third definition of chuck a groundhog would be most capable of as the definition is, "to pat or tap lightly, as under the chin." This is possible with a properly motivated groundhog who could hold some small pieces of wood and lightly tap Chuck Norris with them.

Now that it is established that it is indeed possible for a groundhog to accomplish the aforementioned task addressing the question of quantity remains. Exactly how much wood depends on how willing Chuck would be to let a groundhog tap him repeatedly. On the internet Chuck is portrayed as a supreme being who is able to make the impossible possible but in reality Chuck does not possess any supernatural powers. Motivating Chuck to let a groundhog tap him with wood could be done by simply compensating Chuck for his time with prime time exposure. There are many talk shows, Letterman, Leno etc..., that would air the actual act. If done in a late night talk show environment the time would be limited to probably around 10 minutes or so. The groundhog would probably reuse the same piece of wood over and over so realistically the amount of wood would be about 0.5oz approximately.

On a side note, groundhogs are high up in Sigma teams chain of command.

The answer to your subject is no, not really. But kudos for changing that.
