Summer 08 Games (because the Fall 07 thread is too far down)

I picked up Tetris Party as well. WooWoooooo!!!
Fallout 3 is great, though I've been too busy Dead-Spacing to play it as much as I'd like. (And I've picked up Twilight Princess where I left off before.) It's open and flexible like Oblivion, but much cooler. The characters are more interesting, they have more than three voice actors, the combat system is nice, etc. etc. You can play it like a first or third person shooter, or you can go into VATS (some sort of tactical turn-based sort of thing,) that lets you pick where you want to shoot someone, queue up a few shots, and then watch it happen. The environments are just what you'd expect, and they look great. Decent physics as well.
I'd recommend Dead Space first, but F3 is top-notch. Definitely more hours of play on F3, and probably more replay value. So far, I've felt a little more immersed in Dead Space though. (despite it being 3rd person) I'm constantly impressed by the visuals and sounds. It can be a little disturbing at times, but it's a lot of fun. The zero-G sections are a lot of fun, and you can get really creative with how you accomplish some tasks.
I'd like to get Left 4 Dead and Mirror's Edge (though I think ME isn't out on the PC for another month or two.)
I'm too busy collecting golden bugs right now though anyway.

Yeah those Gold Bugs are worth collecting. This marks 2 years since I collected all the gold bugs. I could see going back and finding them all again someday somewhat soon. But then again, I never finished waking the wind so maybe I should go back and do that first.
I nabbed M's Edge and will report back after tryin er out.
