Halloween in IV

I was thinking about being Happy Time Harry.

I would wear boxers, wife-beater, bald-cap, and a knife for one arm. I'd have to find some big red shoes though. I'd also carry around some action bills. Seeing as how I'm not doing much that night though, it would hardly be worth the effort.

Costume #1: 70's Roller Skating Disco Diva (debating about actually getting roller skates...I feel that they would prove difficult to operate whilst intoxicated and in a mosh pit)

Costume #2: Sailor! (all the roomies are gonna be sailors on Saturday night for our Monster Mash Extravaganza!! it's officially the largest party on the Facebook. whatwhat!!)

if i could be so internet savy, i would post pics after the festivities, but that's a long shot.

Sounds like you got it all worked out! I still have no idea, ill just throw somthing together at the last minute im sure.

So... How was everyones Halloween? I had a pretty good one, I went to my roomates biochemistry party, which turned out to also be the San Diego 2600 Groups party as well... At least I had somthing to talk about at the party! Here are some pics...

I drank a couple beers and walked through Zurich's red light district with a friend. Zurich is a cool town but not big into H-ween.

ok yeh I am.

Thursday: Failed my Coporate Finance midterm. Drove to LA to see FALL OUT BOY at the Wiltern. They were awesome, all the scene/emo/14 yr old kids were not. Got lost driving around for like 1.5 hours (and I live in this city?) Spent the night at home.

Friday: Back to IV after sushi with mum and buying last min. Halloween stuff at Target. I put my car away in the special Halloween lot and came home to clean like a mofo. Driving thru SB was a nightmare b/c of all the out of towners. It was so funny to watch ppl walking down our end of Sabado with duffles and sleeping bags heading off to whichever couch they were going to crash on. We could also totally hear the cavalry come riding through everytime. Friday night we were the typical "slutty/sexxy" whatevers. We tried going to Lauren's, but I guess we just missed her and Fran was leaving with some of his buddies. DP was surprisingly manageable. Big lights, lots of cops, but there was elbow room, ya kno? We hung out at our friends' house for the rest of the night basically. Oh and I got separated from my phone for like a good 30 min and was kind of worried bout that since the cell sites were so overloaded.

Saturday: More cleaning and LOTS of decorating for our Monster Mash!! We made our infamous jungle juice and had like 4 30-packs, plus candy and cupcakes. We were kind of apprehensive about having tons of ppl over becuz the police had put up a "no music" policy, but we blacked out the windows and kept the music normal and we had no problems. Everyone was like, you can so not tell that anything is going on in here. Anywho, the costumes for tonight were the sailor outfits

. Aren't we adorable? Everyone and their mom showed up, I seriously didn't know half the ppl who were in my house. I also thought it was a good idea to chase Bacardi shots with Jungle Juice...turns out it's not

So I was cut off REAL early and banished to door duty. Man, I thought that was the greatest job ever, yelling at ppl to come in or out and closing the door real fast behind them. But other than that, the night is a real blurr. We didn't get a chance to walk DP cuz we kicked the last of the stragglers out around 230. But everyone said it was HUGE. Dang.

Sunday: God's day. Therefore, day of rest.

Monday: Still felt lazy, so I didn't go out. But it was SUPER loud out there and I felt bad about not celebrating the real Halloween. But I was pretty much over it.

Costume highlights: a Facebook profile, a blue book, bumble bees (very very popular wit da ladies), lingerie, an Ipod who would sing you your fav. song, the Blue Man group

And break.
