MS Genuine Advantage Cracked:
Well, that didn’t take long. Apparently Microsoft’s Genuine Advantage has been cracked already.

This week, Microsoft started requiring users to verify their serial number before using Windows Update. This effort to force users to either buy XP or tell them where you got the illegal copy is called 'Genuine Advantage.' It was cracked within 24 hours."

I wonder if they will give you a free copy of XP if you tell them where you got yours. I got mine from the service counter of XXXX.

I just used ye olde new windows genuine advantage blah blah on my illegal copy of WinXpProw/sp2 volume edition simply by pasting this into the address bar before choosing express or custom
