Pretty wild line-up. I think DJ Z-Trip is going to make an appearance as well; look out for his new album dropping any day now.

danz: Enjoy the Sauce and the laid-back funky beats!

Ooooh DAMN!!! Did you catch the full lineup for Sunday. It is teh Sheeeeit!!

Highlights include:
Nine Inch Nails
Black Star
Diplo
Prodigy
DJ Krush
Aesop Rock
Zion I
Blood Brothers

Dyamn - how can I see that many great acts in one day.

Kevin - tell me you can get it off work. How far is the drive from your place if I come down the night before? Saturday's lineup is great but it is no Sunday (although I have still never seen Coldplay). At $100 a day I think I gotta stick to just Sun.

Who knew there was a Coachella thread already?

The set times have bee posted today Here.

NIN not the last band? But they are playing a headlining set 1:15. Maybe the organizers thought it would be better if people could get over to see the Prodigy to end the night. I think I'll stick with Black Star.

Bad news for Z-Trip fans. His set is identical to teh Arcade Fire's .

I'll post my other thoughts later. I just mapped out a possible schedule but two freaksihly errant mouse clicks and the post was lost forever.

How does this sound for a preliminary schedule? Anyone else you guys were big into catching?

1-1:40 (Gobi Stage) Zion I - great live hip hop we should check out for a bit.

2-3 (Sahara Stage) Diplo

2-2:45 (Outdoor) Donovan Frankenreiter - swing by here if we aren't digging Diplo

3-6:45 OPEN - maybe cruise the fest, check out a bit of Thrice at the main stage or Beans at the Gobi stage.

6:46-7:35 (Outdoor) Arcade Fire - I am way pumped to see them.

7:55-8:40 (Outdoor) Aesop Rock always puts on a good show.

If we aren't digging Aesopm Krush will be spinning the same time in the Gobi (tent?)

9-10:15 (main stage) Nine Inch Nails - this will be nuts. Might want to get there a bit early.

If we were nutty we could cruise by the Mojave stage and catch a bit of Seattle hardcore rockers Blood Brothers after NIN but we might want to hang tight to have a good spot for...

10:40-11:40 Black Star.

Thoughts, McNevein, Beeeph?

I am a shitty picture poastar. I wrote all this out months ago. I don't even have time to post the rest so I will hope to satiate ya'll until I get back in a couple weeks. Get back?... I am actually escaping into the mountains for a few days and then am making a quick trip to teh good ol NW. I will be around Sat the 18th if anyone has any kind of bueno Mi Casa Tu or Indian buffet idears. Numbers still 805-636-1118.

Damn... I just don't have the time to spend on this I would like. Here are a whole bunch of images and a little bit of story. Maybe my cohorts can fill in some gaps. Pics are by me, beeeph, and kev. You can probably decode the photgraper (or at least the photographer's camera) from the file name if you so choose.

Coachella (and the entire weekend) was a BLAST!!!
Thanks for the awesome time guys.

So here are a couple shots the first is the three of us at the at the great house we stayed at and the car ride around earlier in the day.

Here are some shots of the gang walking in: uno dos tres

We walked in (having missed Zion I) and headed straight to the Diplo tent.

...where the plentiful picture taking began.

These guys went nutty with their new digital cameras, which is why I am up late at night posting all these images.
Diplo is 2 guys?

the whole gang in the tent
