Game Stuff

Post by R3C »

I got the new Prince of Persia. It looks quite cool, but I like the control and camera style of Sands of Time better. Hey, does anyone still have Sands of Time sitting around? I'd like to finish it up. I only played 40-60% through it I think.

I got Need for Speed Underground 2. Not too bad. Everyone should download it just to hear Brooke Burk tell everyone to drive safely, and only street race in games. :D Stupid. :D

I suppose all video games will have public service announcements at the beginning now telling people not to race cars, kill people, kill demons, start nuclear wars, etc....

I got into NFSU2. The framerate could be a little better, but a good game overall.

D'jou give Warrior Within a shot j.me? I was planning to give it another go but that looks unlikely anytime soon as I am already up to my eyeballs in schoolwork.

NFSU2 hasn't even made it out of rar files yet. And that is a niche niche on the PC PoP:SoT.

I'm not suffering in the framerate department, but the game is only fun to me in the Free Run mode. It probably won't last too long on my PC. I'd much rather have a graphically updated Porsche Unleashed.

Took me about 10 tries to "beat" that stupid girl at the beginning of PoP:WW. I think I like SoT a little bit better. It's a quite a bit more like the original PoP games. (At least from what I've seen so far...)

I definitely recommend finishing SoT. It is one of the best complete stories for a game in recent memory. I hear that aspect has been pretty much wiped out of WW.

I've only just passed the introductory fight sequence, and washed up on a shore. Just from the beginning though, I don't get the same feeling. It's almost like Prince of Persia: Fighting Force, or something like that. Run, fight, run, fight. None of the acrobatic puzzles, story, etc. But, then again, I haven't gotten far at all, so that could all change. Seems like SoT had that going for it early on though. I was immediately sucked into that one. This one, I'm forcing myself to get a little further in, just to see if it gets better. We'll see.

that's what I heard and how it felt at the beginning. The puzzles were definitely the high point of SoT for me. Too bad.
