Kerry/Edwards Ticket
It is not a huge surprise but it is a decision I am pretty happy with. John Kerry has selected John Edwards to be his running mate. After courting McCain, only to have him shove it in his face, Edwards seems like almost a green. But it seems pretty obvious to me that Kerry (probably rightly) is only concerned with who is most likely to get him into the Whitehouse. Edwards is a very likable guy and I think he will appeal to a lot of people that wouldn't be as impressed with Kerry. A recent very informal MSNBC interent poll showed that 3/4 of the people that voted online thought the two Johns could beat Bush/Hal... err, Cheney.

The debate was great. Kerry was the best I have ever seen him hands down. Even the pundits on Fox (well not Sean Hannity) were giving the debate to him (but not as widely as the more mainstreamers).
As of now on MSNBC it is 70-30% Kerry with 441883 votes. I don't think the margin will be quite that wide with a more scientific polls tomorrow, but it was a good night for Kerry.
The rm stream is on C-SPAN.

I must admit that it was a good debate, and both handled themselves very well. I thought the first 30min actually went to Bush, but kerry had a strong finish, and Bush started sounding a little too repetitive...
I am looking forward more towards the debates on domestic issues...should be interesting, and is probably the area that Kerry will really be able to distinguish himself from Bush...

They just started a new chapter of air america in san diego.
KLSD, I assume that's short for Libral San Diego. Its worth checking out, there is probably one in your local area. Its worth it just to check out the Al Frankin Show.
