And so it begins...The seemingly random thread...or I guess it's random topic! Oh I've screwed the whole thing up now...except topic isn't as long as random so I'll keep it as thread seeing how it lends itself better to people threading in and out of this and/or that. So yeah coronavirus...is literally a made up word for something that I fear is very real and getting realer by the hour and/or minute. It really doesn't feel real although my take on the whole thing is that it seems to be living up to the hype as it has surpassed everything except the Spanish flu which I don't see it getting there but maybe more than swine flu. So crazy to compare it to SARS-CoV with something like 8450 cases world wide and only like 810 deaths, so right now we're at 380,000 cases and 16,000 deaths and its just gathering momentum where 40-80% of the worlds population are going to get the SARS-CoV-2 virus which will turn into COVID-19. I think that's something people forget is the virus is seperate from the disease SARS-CoV-2 is like HIV and COVID-19 is like AIDS so lets just call it "The Chinese Virus" as Trump goes out of his way to say...but enough about viruses and diseases lets talk about Osiris and Jesus! Ha...except no. Religion and politics...No...Relgion...and...politics...How did those pyramids get built anyways? There is so much on how ancient egyptians couldn't have been able to build them with the level of accuracy that they did...so yeah...aliens...but really I'm thinking that they just took their time and they were able to build the stuff they did because they were able to do it even as fantastical as it sounds even though it's really not that fantastical but aside from that how could you believe the Earth is flat? I mean really how could the world possibly fund the space industry globally and have all of every little detail worked out? It is just totally statistically impossible not to mention that there are many ways to prove the Earth is a ball using instruments like theodolites which have taken tens of thousands, if not more, measurements that prove curvature. Ever see how a rocket was constructed? There is a cool YouTube video I saw which gave a tour of ULA (United Launch Alliance) and if you just watch the video which details much of the construction involved with making a rocket it's just way too obvious that there is entirely too much detail in their explanation about how the rockets are built resulting from way too much thought put into how would be the best way to even build one to think it's fake. It's just totally insane to get onto the track of believing the Earth is flat. Heh, I think the whole flat Earth thing was ruined by Steve-O when he was on Joe Rogan talking about when he went up super high in a Russian MIG and reached a high enough altitude to see curvature in the Earth. I mean of all people, seriously...when yove have someone like Steve-O saying the Earth is a sphere I mean to me there seems to be yet another layer of credibility when someone like him is just going to give it you to you straight based on actually looking at the fucking Earth. I did my own thing though, there was a model rocket that reached over 200,000 feet in elevation and you can see curvature in the video and no it's not because of the lense, if there is curvature from the lense then there is curvature from the lens ALL of the time not just when the rocket reaches max altitude. And then there is Red Bull, Felix Baumgartner at nearly 128,000 feet you can very easily see the very round Earth. I think it's more about what people want to be true versus what's actually true.
