I used to think aye and eh were the same...
Welp, I is teh drunk...kind of fell back into the old pattern although measurably improved in that I drink 80oz of water before doing the drunken slumbar and it saves the day. I am forcibly inclinated to say the days of late have been hot as frack - I think I suffared from mild heat exhaustion ye olde othar day when temps peaked into ye old nineties in the year of our Lord 2006...It was fricken hot as fricken hell...yeah...
So what upon ye old hellashishness would God impart upon yon l2icks0r! to endure such torture as heat exhaustion? I dunno, I think God likes to make everything in my life more difficult than it needs to be - actually though getting drunk seems to always be rather easy. So yeah, being thermoregulatorially challenged was not too much fun but only lasted for a few minutes. Hmm...I just re-realized I really like making up words w00t....Yeah...teh body was just not used to the heat and constant wind sprintish activities. Heart rate was insane as well and I felt like was going to collapse but after drinking water and pouring water all over the back of my head and neck I got pretty cooled down rather quickly...and once again water ended up saving the day.
So the other day I turned 35 and I'm still riding a little kids bike - oh yeah see that was the reason behind why I was doing the whole heat exhaustion thing. Turns out though that other than that weird day I can still do it better than evar now and even though I've only ridden about a week now this year I'm beyond where I've been in the past from when I first started riding again after taking a 5-7? year break from it. I had no idea how strength played such a large factor in BMX and even though I've only barely been running my cardio is tip top. I've been riding every day for the last 5 days straight and tomorrow will be no different. It's so obvious now but I didn't ever realize it before but the more muscle you have the easier it is to move thus better reaction time, better balance, better everything...the stronger you are the easier you can move...and the more armor you have when you fall but I haven't even come close yet.
I've determined that it's all calculated risk now though - what seems like something that is totally insane is actually a risk that you can determine the outcome of if you just calculate it properly which can be difficult but so far I've been doing rather well. I just can't deal with getting seriously hurt again but what's way worse than that is not being able to deal with wussing out of trying big stuff. It's a fricken demon I tell you. This year is looking better than I could have ever imagined...I shall have to post some pictures once I have something reasonably impressive...ok pass out time...
Oh it's been a while eh?
