- select shape tool on the left there (U) and go to line tool
- then select that 3rd box up top "Fill pixels"
Good ol' fashioned raster line tool just like PS 4.0 used to bake.

Looky what I just found. I admit I never tried that hard but I actually thought they took it out.

That's very cool. Now if I had any other compelling reasons to switch from 4.0 I'd do it. But since even 2.5 has that tool, I think I'm good with a 25 meg install. 
I've run everything up to 7.0, and yes, they are cool, but no, I don't really need them. Plus, I'm not going to go look around for it. The line tool is our best friend.
