Oh what a world!

Post by snowboard_freak »

In a span of 12 hours over the weekend two really shitty things happened.

First of all i get a phone on Saturday morning saying that my brother-in-law to be's snowboard shop burnt down overnight due to an electrical fault. Everything is written off with the exception of 10 t-shirts. Everything else is gone. Boards, bindings, boots, skateboards - everything. The insurance people have told him just to give up and moveshop elsewhere.

Second i get another phone a few hours later from my Mum saying that her house was broken into and totally ransacked. Not much was stolen, but the fuckers made a huge mess of the place. What do people feel the need to steal and destroy others possession. I hope they all die a slow painful death. :grind:

I was half expecting to come home and find that my car is just a pile of ash.

Just wanted to have a rant. i hope you all had a better weekend than i did!

Damn dude! That totally sucks. Wow - must have been a black black fire with all those boards going up in flames. What a shame. At least not too much of your stuff got stolen.

Here's to better times.

That blows chunks. Were the ten surviving t-shirts nice?

It blows big arse chunks! Not sure if the the t-shirts were nice or not actually. We weren't allowed to touch them or anything because they are now the property of the insurance company. God that shit works in weird ways. I bet they were realllllll nice though.

The worst part is that of the boards lost was one of a kind in Australia. The only one shipped here. :noway:
