Update on the orig list.

I've played a few of X360 games I originally mentioned - very few of the PC. SKATE is an extremely cool game much more realistic than THPS. I'll play it some more. BEAUTIFUL KATAMARI is totally HD Katamari and thus quite fun. If I was home from work sick I could see playing it all day and rolling up every last exquisitely detailed japanese knick knack and do dad.

I've played a lot more BURNOUT REVENGE than PGR4 - but I mean to try it out soon. Got the new NFS and DiRT too but haven't been in a big hurry for either. DLed GOW for PC and need to crank it up. Played a bit of GALAXY - but apparently I need to get a bit more into it before it becomes awesome - cuz so far I haven't had much fun. I know I know I just need to play it more.

One game that didn't make the orig list I def need to play (and tried out a bit at Foo's this week) is ASSASSIN'S CREED. Awesome world and very cool looking control system. I can tell the stealth part will be a lot more fun than the melee fighting.

Still need to go back to BIOSHOCK which I have yet to return to much since Spain. Played thru PORTAL, of course, but would like to play EPISODE 2 and haven't played much TF2 since the beta (reminiscent of BF1942).

CRYSIS has no chance of running on my PC but I hope to see it over at the Admiral's today. I still need to get my hands on CoD:MW.

I hope to find some extra time for gamin in new year. w00t.

I've got Crysis running beautifully on two PCs. I de-SLIed my main gaming system, and put one GT in each of my Core 2 Quad systems, both with 4GB, etc. Crysis simply flies on a single GT, so there isn't much of a reason to keep one system SLIed, and the other running a lower-end card. It's interesting, because the systems are nearly identical now, but one is XP-32 and the other is Vista-64. Now I can do side-by-side comparisons of DX-9 and DX-10. Anyway, that's beside the point. The game is incredibly fun when it plays properly. I'm a little over half-way in, and it has finally achieved the immersion level that I like from a good game. (it's still no SS2, but visually it blurs the reality-line a bit)

I've been playing more UT3. It's actually quite fun. A lot of people are complaining about it, but it's not bad at all. My only complaint is that they need more maps. (and a larger variety of them)

I want to play BioShock again, with a different approach. I was heavy on the weapons last time, so I'd like to be more plasmid oriented this time.

I haven't made much progress on Mario Galaxy lately. I've had the bedroom unlocked for a while, and am cleaning up some of the previous galaxies. Very fun, but I haven't been in a console mood for a bit.

I'd like to pick up a copy of The Witcher. It sounds like fun.

I've been picking up a lot of independent games lately. I grabbed a game off of Steam last night that looks like a modern Loaded. It was $8. Which reminds me, Steam is having a huge sale. 10-50% off of everything. I haven't played this game yet (as it was downloading last night,) but it looks like fun. I also picked up Aquaria, which is a relaxing side-scroller. Kind of a mixture of play types, but like Ecco, mixed with a bit of Amiga-game-osity.

I played CoD:MW at Jamey's, and its most excellent! 3 kills in a row earns you an airstrike!

Picked up a Wii zapper, and was a little disappointed that it doesn't work with Metroid Prime 3. Nevertheless the Zelda shooting gallery game that comes with the zapper is quite fun...

So my Wii is back from being "Wiipaired" at the factory, it was only gone 3 days, gotta love Nintendo being in Redmond.

So I was all excited to finally get a 2nd guitar, those bastards pushed the ship date from 1-28 to March 2008. Bah!
