Did anyone else like the Quake 3 Team Arena chaingun a lot better than the Doom 3 version? The Doom3 version feels more like the UT one to me. I liked the way the Q3TA one would just dump ammo. It ran out fast, but it mowed down everything you pointed it at.
Hmm, now that I know how to modify weapon DEF files, I may go in and tweak the chaingun to my liking. Perhaps bump the capacity up, bump up the rate of fire etc. Put a bigger muzzle flare on it. Woooo Woooooo!!! Then I'd have the flows.

Where did you see a spoiler?
I'm discussing chain gun and plasma gun technology, and how to improve them.
Here's a good spoiler or four for you: take some eggs out of their carton, crack them, and then leave them in a sunny window sill for about three days. Or take the milk out of your fridge, and let it set at room temperature for about a week. Dent a can of misc food near the top or bottom seal. Let it sit in pantry for a few months. Oh, and one more, take lunch meat out of fridge, unseal it, and leave it on the counter for unspecified number of days.

Or perhaps: Take this thing out of the case, and stick it up your nose. Don't worry it's self guiding. When you hear the crunch, you're there. Now take this thing, and cover it with perishable foods and liquids. Put it in the Doom 3 box. Put it on the passenger side floor of your car, and direct the heater to the floor. Go for an extended drive.
