Hey J3rk
Indeed. I'm quite a bit happier, now that I'm off that wretched prime number. I feel like I can post in a much more leisurely manner. I don't have that yucky prime number burning through the back of my skull as I type. I'm not a big fan of the number 14, especially since it involves multiples of 7, but it'll do for now.

Far Cry Patch Recalled
According to ShackNews the Far Cry 1.2 patch released a few days ago has been recalled. According to the publisher "Far Cry patch 1.2 has shown unexpected behaviour on specific hardware configurations. These matters are mainly due to incompatibilities with several optimisations brought lately to the code, with the intent to please a large number of users". CryTek is working on a fixed version of the update to be released "as soon as possible".

I'm all set to try out SM3.0, but NV hasn't released their driver that officially supports it. You have to do an INF hack, which I'm too lazy to do. Do they think I have time to add two lines to an INF file?? I need my Far Cry discs... Rixlor, go hang out with Ivan and get the discs! HEE HEE HEE. I would like to hang out with Ivan, but I have no time to do anything presently.
Now that I got everything working, I'm ANSI to get home and try it out. You should see UT2004 at 1280 all options maxed at 85Hz sync. It's possible that it will even run like that at 1600x1200, but I haven't tried yet. I got a few dropped frames, and some jitter at busy times before, but not now. I tried the most complicated levels I could find. I can't wait to try Far Cry. Supposedly they're going to enhance the graphics in it, and not just use SM3.0 for speed at some point, but I haven't read anything about that since the initial posts I saw.

Yes! Rob them blind!!! AAAAAHAHAHAHAHHAA!!!!! Silly elderly. My slot arm is tired. [TEE HEE HEE]
Yes, that Papio bottle.
Well, it's still at Uwaji, but I don't think I'll be able to get it. I may have to walk by with a pin and let it deflate whilst I shop. I could do it the same way we got the other thing. I'll use a cart, and toss it on the bottom part. Then wheel it out.

This started slipping down the page again. Grunka Lunkas? Tell them I hate them! That episode was on last night. Which reminds me... McNevin, someday I want your whole Futurama collection. I have turned to whatever the appropriate side is, and it, and Family Guy are among my favorite non-Williams Street cartoons now. I'm going to buy the DVD sets for Family Guy though, so I won't need those. I watch them both every night now. I don't know why I never liked them before. I probably just got the wrong introductory episodes or something. Anyway, I want all the FRs. Only change the "want" to "need" and you'd have a more accurate idea of what I really mean. HEE HEE...

Cant let this bastard slip away...
Thats funny, i had the tv on when i went to bed last night... Jen was getting ready top turn it off and just as the "Tell them I hate them part came on, i quoted that into my pillow, just about to fall asleep. Just barely catching my favorite line.
Unfortunatly I am missing the first 2 seasons, as they were lost in the great hard drive crash of 2001. I do have some excelent episodes though, which you should enjoy.

Note that this is to "cure" monkeys of laziness, (doing what they want to instead of what they're told to do...)
Good thing I don't have to worry about anti-laziness drugs yet... I've been drinking wine at work for a few hours now... I have a deadline to meet today and yet I seem to be posting on the monkeylair...
