I wonder if I have any exploding pig meat in my kitchen. I'd better be careful.

You...

Post by R3C »

... don't want to get hit by exploding pig meat. It will melt into your skin. Then the pig toxins, will slowly eat away at your brain. You will go completely mad. The first signs will be excessive drinking in solitude. Then the obsessive weight lifting begins. Then your head will actually explode, spreading the toxins further.

Speaking of where's everyone's whiskey, I seem to be back into my wine supply again. I think if I hurry up and build the rack it might act as a deterrent of sorts, limiting my consumption of the nicer wines to special occassions. Right now though, that's not the case.

Ok...

Go to E3 2004... Check
Visit Tooned In booth... Check

I had a great time at E3, got to see the new zelda for the gba. They didnt have any info about the new Zelda for GCN, because it isnt slated for release until 2005, and they wanted to focus on stuff coming out within the next year.

Both new zeldas loko really great though.

Have you heard of stalker? Pretty revolutionary in terms of how the game works, and now that it uses dx9. looks fantastic.

I've...

... been following STALKER for quite some time. It's looked quite nice since I can remember. I can't wait for it to come out. It looks like the X800XT isn't going to be shipping until June, so that's when the 9800 will be ready for transfer. So, you decided to go to dork fest. Oh well, sounds like you had fun. :D Go to any hotel parties? You should have put up a quick fake hardware review site, and gotten a press pass :D

That was the Fry's one day sale. They aren't that price all the time. $150 is still less. Besides, I'm not the one that needs to hurry. ATI hasn't shipped the XT version yet... I wish they would hurry and do that. I'm ready as soon as they ship.

Agreed. I wish they would have done a simultaneous release. I have to buy this card though, because D3 is out this summer. I'm actually rather excited about it. More than HL 2 even. I want to have hardware that will allow the game to knock me out of my chair.

I'll be glad to jump the nvidia ship... though i may be back.

Those frig heads, they were giving out cards at e3, you think they could spare some GOOD cards.

They gave out 5600XT and 5900XT cards. you think they could at least given away a 5950.

If I were COSMI, I might think it a good idea to make some kind of new Forbidden Forest or Caverns of Kafka game. But, I guess I'm not COSMI, am I?

The cool thing about COSMI is that they have released all their games to fee freely distributed, although they still retian copyright.

If that last were not the case we could make forbiden forest 3: the Vapor Forest

That's our COSMI!! :D The budget software of budget software! We used to play those games a lot. Even though technically speaking, we had better games. FF, CK, and AC were some fun frickin' games. I love Paul Norman's use of unfiltered sawtooth waveforms for his music.

Yes, the music alone made the games quite worthwhile.

If I'm not mistaken, a lot of his music was 3 based. I'll have to give it a listen. I've got my SID collection installed here.
