One thing that comes close is when you're playing Jumpman and you haven't noticed one of those shooty things and then it shoots you and you fall to your death.

I'll agree with that...

Post by R3C »

... Jumpman is totaly emersion. I feel like I'm running down those green steel I-beams. Gathering red blocky things while trying to avoid big white squares hell-bent on my death. When I take a nasty spill, stars whiz about my head. It's as realistic as anything.

That's extremely funny...

Post by R3C »

... because you got me to spell it wrong too, and I know how it's spelled!!! I can't believe that.

That would be good... it's like e-commerce or any other e-term. :D Electronic-Immersion... :D

While monitor shopping for the goebox this week we came across the iiyama section with the cheaper "e-yama" screens right next to them. :noway:

cheaper than iiyama, wow.

For one monitors dont cost very much these days.
Viewsonics are already value priced.
Iiyama is viewsonics value line, so the are really cheap.
so im thinking this e-yama cost maybe five bucks?

I think you are mistaken. Optiquest is Viewsonic's budget line. Iiyama is a different company whose monitors are on par if not slightly better than Viewsonic's (although I'm sure it matters from monitor to monitor).

Yeah, but don't tell him about the sticks until he's already at your house.

Right...

Post by R3C »

... good idea. We'll make sure he comes over, not knowing about the sticks we're going to hit him with. Then when he walks in the door, will hit him with the sticks. He'll be so surprised! What about the rusty metal. Can I hit him with the rusty metal?

Kidding or not, we'll probably still hit you with rusty metal. So, come over to J3rk's house next time. Or got out to the dumpster. It's beautiful out there.

Plans have been put in effect for the final realization of the previously mentioned sushi party. This should occur this month around the time of the third weekend or so which should coincide with the appearance in this area of 3nd3r and the like. Also probably someone else or something might also be in attendance. Some dingos maybe. Old folks like to say that it is easy to become hot, eatin sweety foods and salty foods together. With some bubble in the mouth. It is nothing. The point is, This may be the opportunity for the long awaited mass Space ghost viewing to occur.

Yes, I suppose so. It's been put off for a while. Furniture construction should be finished by this week though. Also Kiriko's friend from somewhere should be here that weekend so.... That was what came about in terms of sushi night planning...

Hey...can I bring:

Post by Bill Drayton Jr. »

all my big sweaty gym friends? Two of them are ex-cons! Wouldn't that be fun?!?!? hmmm???? One has only been out for 9 months! Served six years in McNeal and 2.5 was in solitary confinement because he hurt two other inmates really bad in a fight....he is really starting to loose his institutionalization problems though...and I pissed him off one day! ahahaha he probably wouldn't think twice about hurting me! hehehe He just recently broke someones nose too! HAHAHHAAA! but seriously - he's a great guy...and a kidnapper...but hey his debt to society has been paid and now he has begun to totally turn his life around. I've also learned a lot about heroin addiction from my other ex-con gym friend. He's been out for a while but was in prison for 9 years. He is a great guy though. In prison he actually read books to his cell mate because the cell mate couldn't read...that's pretty cool I think...
