My...

Post by R3C »

... voice is still all fux0red... I'm feeling about 80% normal now, which is better than the 60% yesterday. I'm a little light in the head. This is my 5th day. Should be good by the weekend again. We should all hang out and grill food and such again this weekend.

Good luck with your proving to other men that you can lift heavier objects than they.

Weekend stuff sounds good. It doesn't require lifting anything much heavier than a wine bottle, so we can probably make do without 12iks0r.

... then the Rixler shouldn't enter manhood proving challenge matches, which signify nothing more that the envy of another's bits and pieces.

We will be lifting wine bottles and forks full of seared ahi with the ladies, while you sweat to the oldies with other men.

I was just kinda spacing out (wait wait wait) as I scrolled down the thread with my eyes a bit unfocused when Jonathan's new avatar struck me completely different. I had already seen it and knew it was a monkey, but for a second it looked like a vaguely asian girl with hair kinda spiking up. So I blurred my eyes and drew it. Here it is. Excuse my quick rendition and desire to change brush size as little as possible...

Wow. You're right.
That probably wouldn't have worked with the uncropped version of the picture since it has a turtle in it. The monkey represents a Russian Atomic bomb which the turtle knows wont affect him if he just ducks and covers.

If anyone is looking for that or other informative videos go to archive.org and look in the prelinger archives.
Plenty of good propaganda and informational films which tend to be equal parts funny and disturbing. Except the russian one about bringing a severed dog's head back to life. That's just disturbing.

They put some blood in a glass thingy with the top open for oxygen. Then they just have a pump going into and out of the head. It sits on a table and they poke it and make noise to watch it's response.
This comes after they reanimated a dog heart and lungs. apparently, it all leads up to reanimating an entire dog, but I couldn't watch it for that long.

That head kinda' reminds me of the end of Mononokehime. I wonder if it jumped up and bit off one of the researchers' arms.

... I grabbed one of the arcade marquees and cut out the rest of the business with a black line tool. He had a good outline, but it bled into some of the other graphics, so I had to go with all black. I didn't have the time or resources to continue the outline here.
