You know...
... if you squint, your avatar looks kinda like you.
HAW-FLAKES are good for stackin', good for throwin', good for lightin', good for rollin', and most of all, they're good for eatin'. HAW-FLAKES is some good biniss. Oh wait, those are HEE-HAW-FLAKES...
HAW-FLAKES are the final solution to any problem. They make the world go 'round. They are the reason each and every one of us gets out of bed in the morning. If there were no HAW-FLAKES, there would be no universe. It would collapse on itself, and everything in existence would implode into a great black nothing. Well, I guess that would still be something, but it wouldn't be pleasant. And do you know why things are pleasant? Because of HAW-FLAKES. FLAKES OF DELICIOUS HAW!!!!

mmm, Mumm's the word.
I will be officially in the area as of May 16, however for at least the first couple days the area is a bit north of the mason-dixon line (AKA Burlington).
We must make time soon after for JoyMastering, Mumm Drinking, Haw tower building and the like. I actually still have a few bottles of some choice fermented grapejuice in a box somewhere. I will also most likely be contacting my wine guy if you are interested in that.
If any Seattle based monkeys are interested in doing some kind of wilderness type hiking in the first few weeks I am very up for that (eh el spidero?).

Also, after those first couple of Northern days, the option of staying in this place here on the Eastlake is still open for you.
English point: I don't think it's incorrect, but I still find it funny when people refer to roads using 'the'....
I'll be taking the Ninety over to the Four-Aught-Five.
(partial view from this place, here on the Eastlake...)

One would think...
... that I'd take the 90 in to work everyday, but one would be wrong. I don't take the 90 at all. I travel by the lake road, to the NE 20th, to the 156th. Hey, that's like the D.O. to the C. or the E-A-Z-Y into the E. ("expressin' his thoughts on the motha' fuqin' grand finale") HEE HEE HEE

no like not unlike
It really pisses me off when someone uses "not unlike."
The emotions I feel when I hear not unlike are not unlike hate!!!!!!!!!!

That is quite funny as I was just recently having a discussion about this with a non-forum member. He said the "not unlike" was a double negative and therefore poor grammar. Basically he thought that all double negatives, by definitition, were poor grammar. In fact, while "not unlike" may be classified as a double negative it is far from poor grammar and is thought of by many (myself included) to be quite stylish, although I prefer the construction "not dissimilar" to the similar but less elequent "not unlike."

!
I am so anti not unlike...
It is...
... stylistic. There is technically nothing wrong with it. It just distinguishes how a particular person likes to speak. It's not unlike... well, I'm sick and my brain is slow right now, so I can't think of what it's not unlike I think if it's done too much it is annoying. Part of constructing stylish grammar is variation. If any one thing is used in excess, then it gets annoying. That's when people start to hate it, and acquire the urge to kill. Say it a few more times though, and I may make that acquisition.
<---- Me making that acquisition after you guys say it a few more times, thereby ruining it for me.
