Post by McNevin »

Hey this ones for you beeeph.

This was in washington's other responses, i found it quite funny. However he musn't be a native because washington is 75% pop callers by default.

"the only time i use pop is when i pop a cap in someones ass for calling it pop....its soda"

... syrup... to make Carbonated sugar syrup beverage. :D

I call it soda, because I got tired of the Eastsiders making comments. It's been soda for the last 10 years or so. It also sounds a bit better. (Probably the larger reason I switched.) I don't really even like crabonated sugar syrup beverage that much, except the occasional Ramune.... mmmmmmmm.... Ramune.......... mmmmmmm......

Had some ramune a couple weeks ago. Good stuff.

Just remember, it isn't worth the effort to get the marble out.

My personal experience is that the use of "pop" is closely linked to the percentage of the population living in trailer/mobile homes.

Good visual of the controversy:

and for more language wackiness throughout the states:

(did you know the firefly is sometimes called a "peen willie?" But only in Wisconsin and Texas)

I ordered the 3-in-1 breakfast maker for my mom for xmas. Its the least I could do for her for getting me the perfect pancake maker for my birthday. The 3/4" gap between the plates allow for awesome food fights when someone is within 2 ft of you when you flip the pan. She'll see how funny it is when I drill 1/8" dribble holes in her new coffee maker.

Oh, and I drink da other.
