They have "IE tab" now for chrome. Also I'm a fan of "Send from Gmail (no button)"

Now I just need "color picker", and "web developer."

I just don't understand how to search from the leiladallasmultibar and the addons so far don't address that very well.

What if you accidentally type gloogle.com into the address bar, and then want it out of the history? With firefox you can just highlight it and hit delete.

Chrome now runs Greasemonkey scripts, that is all...
In January, Chrome grew by 0.57% to 5.20% of the browser market. Meanwhile, Firefox shrunk by 0.20% to 24.41% and IE shrunk 0.51% to 62.18%. Safari and Opera both stayed put, more or less; Safari grew 0.05% to 4.51% and Operashrunk 0.02% to 2.38%.

But... but... Firefox now has pretty pictures all over it.

Personas = Dis-Point

So I'm still a little afraid to give up my search bar... I just don't know if I can do it.

Nice,

The one problem I had with chrome was yahoo mail not scrolling with the wheel in only one frame, turned out to be intellipoint, isn't that weird?

Wow, it's funny how many different browser preferences people have. Not people in general, but people like us who have more refined tastes with this sort of thing. I really could care less about 90% of the features I've read in this thread, yet I still agree that Chrome is tip-top.

I HATE search bars, extra toolbars, etc. I want the window to be as trim as possible, with just the address bar, tabs, basic navigation buttons, and a status bar at the bottom. As long as what's displayed in the main window is accurate, and works without issue, I'm pretty effin' happy. Download features is where I like the frilly stuff. Like Download Them All. Things that make it easy to grab multiple things without clicking...

I also like the measuring plugin. (MeasureIt? was it?)

I would never have thought in a million years about the necessity to rearrange plugin icons. (but then again, I use menus for that to keep my window as simplistic as possible)

Interesting at any rate.

What REALLY bothers me, is when people have a bookmarks frame open. :grind: It makes me violent! Makes me want to say "Yeah, go get a rag, so I can knock that right out of your hand too!!"

Or something like that anyway...

I have the same feelings toward that kind of stuff...I think I already stated that at the beginning of this thread though...Min interface and render speed most important to me...

Haven't used it in a while, but the Admiral and I made heavy use out of it when designing the web site for the company I used to work for. Great for making sure things line up correctly, sizing other pages that you're looking at for ideas, seeing if something will fit, etc. etc.

One thing is for sure, the spell checker in Chrome, is vastly inferior to Firefox. No spelling add-ons either...

I just installed 4.1.249.1021 beta (40167) today, but have not tried the translation function yet.

I was missing my Firefox extension ColorZilla, it has an eye dropper that allows you get the color hex value of most webpage elements or images.

This new one for chrome I almost like better: Color Pick

A spelling add-on! This extension improves the spell checker immensely: After the Deadline

With Firefox the ability to make Gmail the default mailto: handler is built in. (You'd assume this would be an option in a Google browser.) There are several of extensions floating around that claim to do this, but this is the only one that worked for me in 64-bit Win7: Send from Gmail (fix for non-English titles)

Anyone switch to the new beta channel version? I'm still on stable channel. I might switch back to beta channel if I can reorder my extensions!

Today I switched to the beta channel of Chrome. I was having problems with Facebook, I couldn't expand collapsed conversations. Beta fixed it. Oh, and yes you can reorder the extension icons with the new beta.

Speaking of Gmail and Chrome, now you can drag and drop inline images into Gmail, without even needing the labs plugin. Go Chrome!
