The Guitar Hero/Rockband Thread

Post by enderzero »

We are a few months (year?) late on this thread - but, well, here it is.

Anyone still playing GH3/RB? Anyone downloaded any of the add on songs?

And now the reason I started this thread:

You gotta admit this is pretty damn cool.

Well the original guitar hero actually came out in Nov. 2005, so one could say this thread was almost 3 years late...

At my house, we're looking forward to GH:Aerosmith, which should hit 6/29/08

We occasionally still play Guitar Hero III, but are kinda bored with the content, since the Wii version will not support DLC.

"...notes that Nintendo's console just doesn't have the capabilities currently. He says that a three-song pack is about 100MB and the Wii only has 512MB of internal storage. The whole SD card issue probably gets messy due to retrieval times and DRM issues. Harmonix obviously wants to make more money, but it appears the company won't try to do it while running into a very clear storage (and possibly technological) issue."

I've finally had to start dumping things onto SD. I have a ton of virtual console stuff, (the things that are easier to just turn on the Wii for (like Devil's Crush, Ocarina of Time, Mario 64, etc.) I went to buy two WiiWare jobbies the other day, and realized I was out of internal space. I wish you could do batch transfers to the SD card. Doing it one at a time is LAME! :grind: So, anyway, on that note, I'll direct you to a thread that I have yet to create about WiiWare!
