They have a ridiculous deal every day, for one day only.
Todays woot is a Audigy 2 with remote and external unit, all for a little over a $100.
Woot.com is an online store and community that focuses on selling cool stuff cheap. It started as an employee-store slash market-testing type of place for an electronics distributor, but it's taken on a life of its own. We anticipate profitability by 2043 by then we should be retired; someone smarter might take over and jack up the prices. Until then, we're still the lovable scamps we've always been. But don't take our word for it: see what the online community has to say at this Wikipedia article.
Interesting. They need to have buttons, so you can see what was on the previous day, and what's coming up the next day. (maybe they do, but for the short time I looked at the page, I didn't see any)
they kinda have back buttons, its in thier forums, which they call community, they have all the past woots, as for future woots, that is the allure of woot, you never know what they are gonna do next!
Definitely the best part of w00t is that it redirects from http://w00t.com. Because of this you must now resume spelling it correctly or face a possible TEH 1337 Werd Convertar! addition.
Dyamn. Motorola G router, PCI card, and PCMCIA card shipped for $40. They are gonna make a fortune on impulse buys. That shit is dangerous.
The Community doesn't seem to include wat teh w00t was priced at.
I saw that. I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing. I'm partial to speaking correctly for a given language. It seems like 1337 is catching on as its own language however, (beyond its normal circles) so perhaps some beneficial shift will occur at some point.
I bought We Are The Strange, and among its standard language subtitles there is a 1337 set. You can watch the whole movie with 1337 subtitles.
I think the internet should have chosen haxored as the word of the year (unless it was previously) I like it (and the associated xored and zored isms) much better.
