We got in trouble...

Post by R3C »

... some of us naughty monkeys got in trouble for racing golf carts at the golf course while smoking cigars and being silly. HEE HEE HEE. 'twas fun indeed. The security bastard (or was he the lord of the carts?) couldn't catch us because he was in the same kind of golf cart. It wasn't until he got help in the form of two golf cart boys in the Ultra Golf Interceptor that they were able to catch us. Silly bastards. 'twas fun while it lasted. I think we actually should go back wearing fake mustaches and do it again. :D

That really did a lot for me...

... because I've always wanted to be in a vehicle chase, or elude the police. That was close enough.

Bad stogies

Post by Ocean11 »

I'm surprised to hear that.

I always thought cigars were a badge of the sort of standing where fooling around in golf carts is respectable behaviour. Perhaps your cigars weren't big enough. Or maybe you had the wrong sandals on thus canceling out the permissive effect of your stogie.

Try going back with an Odai Hussein-sized cigar and seeing if they still set the boys on you.

That's a good idea, though the cigar I had was pretty big. I've seen bigger, but it should have been sufficient. Perhaps the problem was that I wasn't wearing sandles but rather some black shoes. :D Either way, the chase was fun :D

Usually the cigar is the perfect prop though. I usually stroll up to the vallet stand and say, "Do you mind if we take a couple of carts and tour the grounds?" And they say, "I don't see why not." Then we go race and off-road, and generally misbehave. Then when we start getting close to the club again we slow down, get the cigar(s) ready and gently roll them back into place.

They caught us before we began the docking procedure.

Excuse me my good man, I'd rather care for a rousing game of cart chase.

I think next time, we should just take the explorer out on the course...

The problem may have been that Matt was cigarless. Maybe they would have respected him and overlooked his 5 second brake lock up.

It was quite funny when the lord of the carts was whistling at us and we were just puttering up the hill around 4mph. But the best was the look on the kid's face when he asked us in front of his boss who told us we could take the carts and you said, "I'm pretty sure it was you."

Yes, that was fun. Who's up for some billiard, wine, and cigar action this Sunday evening?

Right...I need to do that. Only my laziness is stopping it from proceeding. I'll try to make contact tomorrow.

If this doesn't make you look like a chinaman then nothing will.

The plans have been set in motion. Think middle of next week.
