Going to London
Fun stuff! Spring break starts next week for this high school teacher. I'm heading to London for some much needed R&R. Me and the old lady will be staying with family in Southern England. First on the itinerary: Trafalgar square, where I will be going down on one knee and finally asking her to marry me. Bout time after 9 years! Just got the ring, still thinking of how to smuggle it into the country without her knowing.

Being possibly the only limey in this forum, let me be the first to say welcome to this rainy little country of ours.
Be sure to try the following:
- Fish & Chips; the greasier the better.
- A real pint of Guinness - not that watered down shit you drink in the states.
- Be sure to visit the Dungeon
- Visit the Tower of London.
Oh, and get any in-build perceptions about us all looking like Hugh Grant and having big teeth or whatever our your head. It's all nonsense.
When you get back - let us know how you got on.

There are those who have not yet witnessed the glory of http://www.twistededge.co.uk. Those people suck.
Well I'm back from London, and officiallly engaged. By the way, I'm a Limey too. Well, half Limey. My mother is English. I went to visit family. So no disclaimer needed. In fact, I'm a Howard, so Hampton court is like a pilgrimage, what with Catherine Howard still haunting the halls. Also found some old Howard grafitti in the Tower. Very cool. I had a blast, and screw Guinness, I went for local Bitters, on tap and not chilled. Best stuff around!
