Nice! Install the new software from their site, don't bother with the disc. Once you do that, put Flashme on it, and do that procedure. You'll be all set.

:D I've considered that a few times, but I don't actually download that much from the ol' usenet anymore. I just go there every other week or so, and grab ROMs.

Admiral: This would be a good storage option for you. I didn't see a 512MB version though. This is the SD version of of my CF card. SanDisk is confirmed to work with the SD M3. Others might too. This one has a fast transfer rate. They also make a "gamers SD card" but I only see it in 256MB. (which still isn't that bad) It has low power consumption, and high transfer speeds. Anyway here is the link to the one that's like mine: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6820180615

I’m preparing my SD card for the goodness! What emulator would the McNevin use to play GBC ROMs, Tetris DX specifically?

Any other emus that I should try out?

I assume Goomba would be the best bet. Check out http://boards.pocketheaven.com There are several emulator forums here, in which the authors of the emus actually post. Updates are usually posted here before anywhere else. Tetris Worlds, and Tetris Advance are the best though. Even better than standard Gameboy Tetris. You'll need to use the M3 Game Manager to put the DS games on the card, but you should be able to dump everything else (.GBA files straight onto the card.) So, you can download the latest software from their site, and load the DS games. Some DS games require specific options to work. If you put Mario 64DS on, make sure you use standard mode (not the DMA 1x/4x options.) The Sonic game is like this too. Most of the other games work in 4x DMA mode though. I usually try that first, since it's the fastest mode. Then if it doesn't work, I drop it to standard mode.

Also, grab the latest firmware file for the M3, and copy it to the root of your SD card. When you boot up the DS/M3 the first time, it will as you if you want to run the update. Then go grab the Flashme file, dump it in the root of the card. Load the ROM like you would a game. The progress meter won't go anywhere. Short the jumper in the battery compartment with a screwdriver (it's under a little red and white checkered sticker, and I believe it is called SL1.) There are instructions on the Flashme site, but this is really all you have to do. If it stops in the middle, just wiggle the screwdriver until it starts going again. Updating to the Flashme firmware is very safe. The only way you could screw it up is by losing power to the DS during flash. (so make sure it's charged)

So i hear that there are problems with reading certain brands of SD cards. I hear sandisk and kingston are the most sucessful. Luckily I have a Kingston, lets hope it works.

So no m3 today, hopefully tomorrow.

Nice! Did you look up the WifiMe instructions? If I'm not mistaken, a $15 D-Link wireless NIC will do the trick. Or I could just mail you my PassKey. Priority mail is pretty quick, and it would only cost about $3. The only question is, whether or not it gets there in one piece. :D I can bubble it though.

I'll send it tomorrow. (Monday) I won't need it back either, so if you ever need it for some reason after you put Flashme on, you'll have it. (Don't know why you would though.) My MK3 should be here sometime soon, so I'll still have a passme device if I need one.

Hmm... Interesting. Yeah, mine had three two boxes inside the UPS package. The passkey was in a little blue box, and the M3/Software/Etc. were in another box. Dumb...

Yes, there was no little blue box.

Did you mail it? They are sending me another one, but it will take 7 - 14 days for shipping they say.

So i'd much rather have the 2-3 day jerk shipping, then you can have my card when i get it.

Oh, and check your PM/Email... I need your address yet again. I forgot the paper I had it written down on at home. I also can't seem to extract your address from our Paypal transaction either. (I would have thought I'd have access to a shipping address or something.)
