Best TV Torrent site around

Post by enderzero »

I have been using this site for the last month to download the Daily show each day. It is like having a DVR. Incredibly reliable and has every US show you care about, plus many many you don't.

Yo wasshappenin EvilDan?

Well you can start with this overwhelming thread.

Or just download a BitTorrent client such as:
BitComet
Azureus
ABC
(Only one is needed but there is some disagreement as to which is best)

You might also find it beneficial to install and run PeerGuardian to (help) make sure the MPAA isn't following you around.

Once you go RSS you'll never go back. I stopped using BitComet because btsky (my xbox source) blocks it.

Check out this page about setting up RSS with azureus: Link

It's like having a tivo... you can grab any show in hi-quality right after they air. The site you posted at the top of this thread has an RSS feed too... give it a shot.

Wow... RSS is cool. Too bad I can't seem to bring myself to convert to azureus. I'm just so in love with ABC.

Evil Dan, I would strongly recomend Peerguardian as well.

Yeah what is up with BTSky blocking BitComet? It makes no sense.

But BitTorrent is too slow for me as far as xbox games are concerned anyway. I am lucky and I have a great free nntp server as well.

Okay, so I'm gonna resurrect this thread, because it took me like a month to get on the ball thanks to some local friends who know what's up. It took me forever to get on the torrent trend, and now I'm sold. I noticed the torrent clients you listed but did not notice anyone in favor of torrent storm. That is what I am using. It was recommended to me. However, what are your opinions on this client? Anyone used it? Liked it? Think others are much better? Also, there is a MAME thread but not one listing peoples favorite torrent sites. I think there should be a thread devoted to this. So far I am using by far http://www.torrentspy.com it has a lot of shit.

I have since converted to Azureus, and am quite happy with it the second time around.

I havn't ever heard of Torrent Storm, but that doesn't mean it is a bad client. Azureus is kind of on the over-configureable side of the spectrum, and not really recommended for the novice torrent user.

One great feature I do enjoy on Az is the upnp port mapping.

Get your MAME torrent here:

Alright I have to add a question on here for those of you who are adept torrent users. I cannot find a tv torrent site for the life of me that has Venture Brothers episodes. Does anyone know of any. And if you haven't seen this cartoon yet, I cannot recommend this show enough. IT IS AWESOME!
