And that reminds me of a new concotion we came up with this weekend while camping very merrily monkey lair style on a 53,000 acre island with only 15 people on it (think our own 4 miles of beach with no one on it - now make it a beautiful, white sand, bright blue water beach with 40 foot steep sand dunes softer than snow - and much warmer, mountains in the background, and thousands of other amazing and beautiful things to see -
)...
...anyway - the drink is very cheap Merlot, mixed with Tang powder. It is actually surprisingly drinkable (compared to very cheap Merlot). But the kicker is, it is called
WANG!!!
Try it!

I will not drink WANG!!!!!
I don't know how I missed this post, but no Peter, this is a horrible idea.
I think I'd just buy good Merlot to go camping with. I just had a nice L'Ecole cabernet the other day. Choki was splendid enough to pick it up.
I've been into good Syrahs lately. I got my fill of spice for a little while, so the Pinots and Syrahs are taking over with their tart-osity.
If we go camping sometime, you can suck wang while I drink wine.

Oh we had good wine too. But when it was all finished off and the nearest store a day away the wang really hit the spot.

It usually does.

Ok, enough of that...
Yes, I can see not going to the store for better wine. I'm thinking it would be cool to go for a camp, and bring along some flutes and a couple bottles of Cristal or Dom. If that's a bit much, then replace that with 4-5 bottles of Veuve Cliquot. MMMMMMMM..... Cliquot..... The only flaw with that, is that you have to carry ice too, and make sure to drink it before the ice runs out. I'm perhaps going to have to get a few bottles for Hawaii.
McNevin: I'm ordering tickets next Friday (17th) You can order any time, but right now it will only be $300 round trip from where you are. I'll call you before I order though. Remember, you don't need money for a place to stay or anything like that, and you'll only need a little for food and such. I'm sure we'll be eating freshly caught sea food while we're staying with Al, so you'll only need money for when we're out and about.
