The Zinger report:

Give Zingers a chance! I'm making them my official snack food from this moment on...
And if you have already tried them you should try them again because I recently went through a similar situation with HAW flakes. I thought that HAW flakes were bad but in reality they aren't that bad - I would expect one to have a similar experience with Raspberry Zingers...
So here is someone who liked them not as much as me - he does agree that you need a drink, such as milk, to wash them down though. I beleive he had no problem finishing them and he just has to come out of the closet regarding his true feelings for raspberry Zingers...Anyway you should find this very educational at the very least:

"Zingers" land Kent woman in jail
2003-08-14
Journal Staff
KENT -- A woman shopping at Top Food and Drug took offense Tuesday when another customer looked past her to ask a Top Food employee when a new batch of Zingers snack cakes were going to be put on the shelf.
"Don't you talk around me,'' said the 34-year-old Kent woman police described as "rather large.''
She then began whacking the Zingers customer about the head. When a manager tried to intervene, he was pelted with a barrage of Twinkies and other assorted snack cakes.
The woman also assaulted arriving Kent police officers, who suffered minor injuries and booked the woman into the Kent jail. The incident occurred about 5 p.m. at the Top Food and Drug at 26015 104th Ave S.E. in Kent.

She should be taken to the common and force fed Zingers, Twinkies, and other snack cakes using a plunger to pack them in, then be trampled by other slimmer but nonetheless obese citizens until she ruptures.
That's what they would do in Iraq, Ulan Bator or Venezuala where they know how to make the punishment fit the crime.
If this were Pakistan...

you would have been sewing soccer balls when you were four years old...

Sewing soccer balls is
exactly what I was doing in England when I was four years old. And my mother didn't go about clogging supermarket aisles and throwing snack food at people. I think there's a connection.
Now nobody sews footballs in England anymore, and they're all grotesquely overweight.

Yes...junk food...

I thought you made that up for sure. Unbelievable.
I'd rather fight for my country than be forced to eat Zingers.
You could just smell them...

in a candle form like this:

"Here is a fun candle...the scent of this candle is called Raspberry Zingers...just like the little cakes...a blend of cake, raspberries...sweet icing and coconut...really nice......."
and
"Here is one of my jar candles done in this yummy scent....Ever eaten a Hostess Raspberry Cream filled Zinger? Well, we have duplicated the aroma. This wonderful creative scent begins with sweet raspberry and toasted coconut, middle notes of buttercream frosting, and bottom notes of freshly baked yellow sponge cake..."
Damn...I'm getting a ultra craving for those things now!!!! Give me Zingers or give me death!!!

My addiction to Zingers.
And in the interests of complete disclosure (unlike liberal DUMB-O-CRATS who try to trade in half-truths and partial disclosures because they are Evil like the blonde-haired Black Lady in Mel Gibson's inspirational new movie), I must tell you that my addiction is not limited to Zingers, but to all chocolate-caked, cream-filled, and icy-frosted packaged snacks.
For years now I have been tormented by Zingers, Hostess Cupcakes, and Ho Hos, which have wreaked havoc on my digestive system, giving me excessive gas and spiking my cholesterol to invertebrate levels.
The life of an addict is not a pleasant one. You live a lie, my friends. Despite numerous counseling sessions with psychogastrointestinalists, I still would fool myself. So tenacious, so compelling, so addictive was my addiction that even when I tried to deprive myself of these specific items, I would purchase Suzy-Qs and slather them with Bosco, convincing myself in some twisted logic that I had "beaten" the problem because I wasn't eating it straight out of the wrapper.
Last month I reached a low point when I found myself manufacturing my own Zinger-like snacks -- baking Betty Crocker devil's food cakes, injecting them with Cool Whip, and topping them off with Hershey's Syrup.
That, my friends, was the bottom. It is a lonely place. But thanks to my brother and Mel Gibson, I have found a new sense of hope. Tomorrow I will be checking myself into a state-of-the-art treatment facility under which I will be deprived of all snack cakes of any brand or manufacture. I will also undergo cream-aversion therapy and a 10 step de-frosting regimen.
My friends, this will take some time and I will be unable to answer what I'm sure will be baseless charges from my enemies within the DemocRAT Party as well as at the West Palm Beach DA's office. But, as my brother assures me, I will emerge stronger, leaner, and less gaseous -- a greater force for Conservatism and George W. Bush's re-election than I am now!
Can you believe it?! It will be the best.
Thanks in advance for your prayers, and check out that new Mel Gibson movie I mentioned. It's a fascinating look at what our future could be.

I have enjoyed Hostess Cup Cakes for the past 44 years, since childhood, when
the package of two cupcakes cost 10 cents. I occasionally still buy a package
to have with milk, usually purchased at the convenience store part of a gas
station, or like today, from a vending machine. I have found that the cake is
frequently stale, lacking moisture. The cream has become, well, rather
synthetic (I realize that this is very likely not a diary product), and the
chocolate frosting is often dry. Some products, like Oreos, have maintained
excellent quality over the past 4+ decades, but what has happened to these

I purchased a box of hostess ding dongs on 7/29/03, bar code number 4500000301 with the last date of sale as Jul 31 701942. We have eaten 5 ding dongs and out of the 5 only 2 had a cream filling inside.
Your response would be greatly appreciated.

Dear TK It does no good to notify the company about what is wrong with the product. They do not respons. We are having a problem with franks. They are not cut properly, some not cut at all. We notified the Biddeford bakery about this problem over a week ago and the franks that I went out with on Tues. were still the same. They are only concerned with volume of product, not quality.

I remember Ding Dongs as a child and of course much more recently as
being a delicious treat. Soft and creamy and rich. I wanted to
introduce my children to one of my favorite treats so we bought a box
yesterday at a local grocery store. They were dry, crumbly and bad. The
frosting had crumbled and fell off before we even opened the wrapper on
each one. I checked the date, and they were supposed to be fresh still.
The numbers on the box were AUG05 H53193. I paid 3.49. I wonder if they
have changed the product, or it was a fluke. I would like to use them for
snacks for the kids' lunch boxes, but I am afraid to try them again.

I know smoking weed makes people paranoid, but does eating junk food similarly fill you with ANGST?
(I had a doobie break on a dark and deserted back road on the way into town the other night, and when the bamboo went RUSTLE I nearly jumped out of my fucking skin. I've never been bothered by junkfood tasting like shit though.)
I'm pretty sure...
