I know I know... this subject has probably been done to death at local super marktets lately but I think it's all a sham... You know what I am talking about...yes...I'm talking about Glad Press'n Seal. Is it really that useful? I mean Griptex technology is pretty clever and all but I have found that it is easier to use a standard food storage bag! It doesn't even have to have the reclosable seal on it! You can just put a whole bowl in one of those food&bread size bags and have the bowl function as the sealer by having the opening be sat upon by the bowl! And you don't have to buy Glad! You can buy a generic brand like Kroger! I find the gallon size to be quite useful.

I don't agree with you about the bags. For example, I have some Hannaford Reclosable Storage Bags (definitely a product of the shire) with the following characteristics: they're cheap, they're one quart size, and most importantly they have a color changing seal. However, these morons seemed to have missed the yellow-and-blue-make-green superior technology of their competetor and have resorted to the pointless yet amusing green-and-blue-make-greenish blue? route. One has to wonder what mastermind came up with this one. Really, I can never tell if they're sealed or not so I just resort to tipping them upside down while all of my weed falls to the floor of my car and shouting, "Damn! It wasn't actually greenish-blue but green and blue!"

I think a better approach would be a conductive strip and small lithium batter for each bag. There would be LEDs all the way across the strip that light one by one as it is sealed.

They would still be disposable like a standard bag.

The security model would autodial your cell phone when the seal was breached. That way you know that your roommate is into your weed, and you need to come home and beat him with sticks.
