Pasco was a success...I broke the WABDL Washington state deadlift record for 181lb men in the class 1 division. The old record stood for nearly three years. In addition to winning my weight class I was also awarded the best dead lifter by outlifting every other man in the division(all weights). It was pretty weird seeing these big muscular powerlifter guys not being able to lift as much as me. I saw a 275lb guy lift 529lbs... I had to do three times my body weight to get to 546.5lbs. There was a SHW(super heavy weight) that actually lifted more weight than me but he weighed over 308lbs and he did less than twice his weight...I think he only did 20-30lbs more than me.

I'm done with 181lbs though...making weight was way too difficult. I weighed in at 179.8. a little over 8 weeks ago I was just over 200lbs... I'm going to compete at 198lbs next - after I put more meat on de bones...I may end up losing my neck again though... :D Damn necks...who needs them anyway!

The people who need necks are the ones that like it when the ladies hang out with them. Ladies (at least the good ones,) like a neck. If you don't care about that, then go for it!! :D

Yeah...didn't get to have beers with him this time though...I got to help him load his damn truck...dunno how I feel about that - I think he was being a little stereotypical you know? It's like if one of my friends was moving and I'm the first person to come to mind because I can lift heavy objects...hahaa
