Forces of Sigma converging-full Monkey Lair assemblage req'd

Attention all Monkeys!! (yuu-huu, runnin crew!!)

I sense a grave evil at work. Sources have reported to me that the forces of Sigma are converging. Once again we must be called into action. The covenant of teh Monkey Lair must be reunited!

I have put plans into action that will culminate in my arrival in the great nor'western city in less than 2 weeks time. I have it on good record that our esteemed Admiral of the Southern provinces will be arriving within a fortnight of then. A home base has been secured on the eastern edge of a united lake. It is crucial that the exact location be kept a secret from teh forces of Sigma, but it may be surmised that it is within convenient distance from "The Zoo."

I propose preliminary drinking of Zoo beverages and eating of fine cuisine (including possibly Tu Casa, Vietnamese Sandwiches, Indian Buffet, and late night Chinatown) purely to throw off the surveilling gaze of Sigma operatives. When all parties are present we will congregate to true monkey proportions.

Contact all Agents!! Raise teh l2icks0r!! The ever-present threat of Sigma Team has gone on for too long!! This will be the great Monkey rising that has been prophesized!! With our powers united we will destroy the Sigma team once and for all!! Forces of Sigma beware...the end of your time on this planet is nigh!!

From: Admiral McNevin, CO, Teh Monkeylair
To: All northwestern Officers
Subject: Tom Foolery

The Admiral will be arriving Dec 24th, and staying until Jan 1st. The Admiral wishes to extend an invitation to the monkeys to join him in celebration at Palmers.

Althoug the Admiral has alot of "family time" to spend, since he has not seen his family for 18 months. He Wishes to have much fun and hopes to make this a visit the sigma will never forget! J3rk, you sir are on priority status, due to the length of time betwen our last visit and now.

The admiral also would like to know what the new years plans are, so far, up there?

Damn right, Over!

We're cooking up something for New Years. Haven't laid it all out yet, but I'm thinking if I can rally enough funditude from some of the key players, we're going to have another Champagne-Fest like we did in the ol' lair. This time it might consist more of Veuve Cliquot and Dom Perignon instead of Cristal and Dom, but the difference is negligable after the second glas anyway :D This is unconfirmed as of yet, so give me some thoughts.

Sorry for my spelling, I'm hitting the Pinots and Cabernets right now. [TEE HEE HEE] I like to have fun. With the sauce. The booze. :D

I'd be happy with martini and rossi after the second glass... Ahh... remember the Champ-Holster?

by R3C
Ahh yeah!! :D That was an excellent tool!

For the recipe that serves you right, you can ask Martini and Rossi. You don't want to grapple with that bullshit, I'd pull a rabbit out my hat if I wanted a trick. :D

[TEE HEE HEE]

Yeah, we'll run the range from Jordan up to Dom I think. We're going to try to reserve the clubhouse here. (Pool tables, theater, hot tub, huge dining area, etc.) It may already be reserved, but we'll try.

Consider teh l2icks0r! raised...

I don't prefer it to Cristal, but it is very close on my list. In fact, my top five:

1. Cristal
2. Dom Perignon
3. Veuve Cliquot
4. Louis Roederer - Non Cristal variety
5. Nicolas Fuiette (sp?)

Actually, a table full of 3,4, and 5, would be both cost-effective, and delicious. I think that's my recommendation. 3nder, you should see if you can get ahold of your wine contact before you get here, and when you arrive we could buy 10 bottles of Cliquot. That would only be $150 if I remember correctly, split between a few of us. I think 10 bottles of that would make the world go round.

That or diff'rent strokes...

Is the Admiral sure about Palmer's and not the Zoo?....

Well the zoo is closer... but I've never been there.

I'd still like to go to palmers at least once though.

You people and Palmer's.

A trip to Redmond, just to go to Palmer's? There's nothing in Redmond. Well, I guess Rixler is in Redmond. There, now you have two reasons to go there. :D

Technically I do believe Tu Casa is in Redmond as well.

We can have a Redmond night of where we eat at Tu Casa, drink at Plamers, and crash at Fatty RiXler's.

As for the wine hook up... Because of recent meth lab and stolen dvd ring busts, it may be more difficult than previous times allowed.

Oh... Interesting. :D Well 10 bottles at full price still wouldn't be too bad if spread over say 6-7 people. I was thinking 10 bottles split between a hand-picked crowd would work out pretty well. We should charge $5 per guest for the use of Champagne. :D For any guest that wants to drink it, and didn't help with the initial puchase of said wine. I may be thinking on too grand a scale hear (guest-wise, not champagne-wise.) So far I have confirmation from Seth, 3nder, Choki, McNevin, and a few people that I've spoken to in the area. That's not a ton, but I expect that at least another 15-20 people would be interested, that I'd be talking to. The clubhouse was booked, so we're going to try and find another location. Otherwise we'll just scale it to around 20 people and have it at my house or something. I'm in very early (as in started yesterday,) planning stages.

We should see if 2316 is booked up already. I hear they have a lot of space (but maybe not much furniture).

I know you know that it is not Crystal....you sacrilegious bastard!!!!!!

Even the fake crap(Cristalino) is not spelled that way...

Yes, there are but only two reasons to come to dear old Redmond although Palmers is something that I don't completely understand where the appeal lies...everyone seems to like it...in fact it seems that I just can't escape the lovely smell of cigarette smoke and vomit that lingers there because even my astutely tasteful and elegantly selective powerlifitng friends seem to enjoy going there for some reason.

Oh shizzza....I just remembered that I don't check my mail and don't really come to this site that often so someone will have to remind me about this get together when they come around here by calling me on the cell phone....if one monkey would be so kind...

So apparently the news completely blew the whole thing out of proportion. The "meth lab" they found was a jar of lime under the kitchen sink for unclogging it. The meth lab contamination team came down and basically laughed in the cops face. As far as Nathan being involved with "a dozen or more" people lifting boxes of DVD for his "ring" was a bunch of bologne. 1 maybe 2 kids were stealing DVDs and selling them to Nathan at his shop, he didn't really ask whey they got them. Doesn't look like hes in much if any trouble after all.

I didn't even hear about any of this. Wow. That sucks. He doesn't really strike me as the meth-lab type anyway... Stupid bored cops... Why don't they go find a real lab... They probably wanted to be heroes for busting up a lab, and a DVD ring without that hassle of actually going after real ones.

i'm sad to say I won't be able to make it to the assembly due to stupid dumb family traditions. However, I will send with the admiral a picture of my head that can be brought to all the meetings.
