Now that I got used to the merged forum, I don't like the separated ones anymore. Hardly anyone goes into the monkey-forum now. At least before, all content was exposed to everyone, so there was a better chance of someone looking at one's monkey-bizniss and continuing it.
3nder, you definitely changed my view of THAT situation, and now we're back to the split forum. Bleh. The monkey-bizniss facility makes me
now...

No no no no... I love the new forums, especially now that the flair is gone. I was actually just trying to say that you were right when you merged them. The reason I didn't want them merged the first time, is that there was an equivalent presence in both (though they were different sets of people.) Things moved along quite well that way. But now that they've been merged, and everyone knows everyone else, it was nice that way. (Forgive the grammar in that sentence.) Now it's lop-sided, and the incentive to be silly seems to have lessened. (With a smaller audience, or at least a perceived smaller audience.) Basically your plan to bring the two groups of people together worked in the end, and now it's been changed. Perhaps the satisfaction with the single forum should have been expressed before you went to the trouble of splitting them again, but I didn't think about it. (It became transparent.)

I sided with Kevin's arguement to split the forums back when we had this conversation in May. I am a bit dissappointed that the 140 emails I sent out resulted in 2 posts from non monkeys... Oh well. No way to force people to come here, but it would be awesome if we had about 5-10 more people that posted daily.

Yep, that's my only complaint. If it was busier, then I probably wouldn't notice or care. There is a definite decrease in posting though, in both combined over the last integrated forum. I haven't said much in the last few days, because I've taken over a ton of work at work. The other contract guy's "contract was up" (mysteriously about 5 months early.) They seem to appreciate the work I do, so I haven't said anything, or asked questions, but I've been busy as a little bee. I imagine my posting will be tip-top when I get back from Hawaii in a few weeks. (Leaving the 11th, back 23rd.) The forums really are quite nice. It would just seem like more posting was done if they were squashed together. I like the duel format if there was more volume.
Lazy bastards!

I want my own forum on here that nobody else can post to except me...and it would only contain purely fictional posts...

Were you up at 26 the other morning? (The day I tried to call you.) Looked like your vehicle was outside.
