Probably nothing will....
I've turned into some kind of /2icksor.... But at home with some beverages....
What else can I do?
Nothing is quite so entertaining as the lair....

It's funny because some of that will probably happen. I'm not so sure about the being stuck at home part though. I'll probably do my burnt out divorced bastard drinking in some other country where it will be more fun. And maybe I wont be burnt out. As long as I don't let things get to the point where I start taking trips to Pasco, I think everything will be ok.
By the way, that was some good drunken Archon II playing that went on.

The :grinnin: side won. :cryin:

... will you ever. Nobody can beat The Brothers Stroh at Archon. Nobody. (Probably because nobody has played it as much as us since the 80s) We are the Archon fucking masters! We got our technique down and everything. :D SpiderMunx0ry will never quite be as burned out as ol rixler, because he practices what it commonly known as self control.

That was a good long wraith battle though.

... was an excellent wraith battle. I sat and enjoyed it for several minutes, got up, did some things, and then enjoyed a few more minutes, and then got up, then caught the last second or two. I just got back from Seth's. We built the right type of cable for my parallel port. I should be able to start dumping discs this evening. WOOOOOOOO!!!!

Well actually...

if we played on the 64 where I could use a standard joystick I would do better...I think those arcade joysticks are more difficult to use...and I rather push the buttons with my left hand and move with the right in a nice compact little package...you know like the joysticks I played archon with for 5 years...

You could always turn the arcade stick around and remap the axes (I looked that up). :shades:

Versatility in joystick use is the key. I could still beat you with the old style. Or with a gamepad for that matter.
You have shown rapid Money-Puzzle-Exchange improvement though.

I've been beating J3rk pretty consistently lately. Once I achieve a state of no-mind, the money just exchanges itself.

Oh...

... I'll be back on top. I wasn't able to reach that state of mind the other day because of all the intoxicants. (Bad intoxicants.) A nip of wine does me good for exchanging, but I was pretty frackin' silly when we were playing that. This Friday we'll have to play it a bit.

As far as Archon goes, Rixler would blame the joystick. Pfft. We played so many Commodore games when we were kids that we went through joysticks every couple of months. We always had different joysticks. Atari style, Tac, Suncom, Quickshot, trigger style, button on top style, button on the side style, multiple button location style. The best was when I converted gamepads to work with it. I used Sega MasterSystem pads with it for a good while. The joystick medium doesn't matter. It's pure Archon talent.
