After much consideration I have decided to accept a research position at Duke University, North Carolina. After leaving Tokyo I will be having a well-earned holiday in S.E Asia and Australia, surfing a lot, painting my house and smoking a lot of home-grown goodness for three months. Then my lovely lady and I are getting married and I will be starting at Duke in mid Feb.
As soon as I arrive I will be hoisting a confederate flag in the front yard, painting my car like The General Lee from duke of hazzard (including welding the doors shut), jumping through the windows and driving off to wrestle some 'gators while having crazy car chases to avoid getting caught by Boss Hog....."Damn Dukes!"
Seriously, I am going to enjoy working and living in the research triangle and hope to visit some of you guys on my travels around america. I am just hoping there is a change in governent before I get there
Ender and Danz, I hope to catch up with you for some snow based fun soon after I arrive, looking forward to it.
