Was wondering if anyone had a board they were trying to get rid of that would support P4 2.4+ ?

My friend is running protools on a P3 machine right now and I wanna help him upgrade to a nice P4/1gigRAM system. Everything else in his machine is fine. Gotta start with the mother though.

I have an i845 PE board. It will support 3.0GHz+ It only supports 400 and 533 FSB, so you wouldn't want to use a P4C in it, but that probably won't matter much in an audio situation. It's an extremely stable chipset, which matters quite a bit when working with one's prized audio bits. I don't have a proc or RAM, but I'll sell the board for $30-40.

Your mother might be very pleased to receive this high-end board
