SpiderMunxor - I saw this in Okayama. It was shut down. I guess it is just as good.

Too bad it wasn't open. You could have gone in, eaten one or maybe just half a piece of sushi and then left to search for somewhere better.
Speaking of local kaiten, J3rk and co. and I went to a new kaiten place in fremont which was pretty ok. The sushi, although not spectacular, was certainly better than marinepolis and cheaper than average. It was also more populated than the now defunct Azuma.

Yes, I am not surpirsed Azuma is defunct as the one time I went there we had to order from the sushi chef who then proceeded to put the sushi on the conveyor belt so that it would be just like real kaiten.

I saw 1500 Yen tabehodai kaiten in Osaka the other day. Unfortunately my companion was not into the idea. Is there any tabehodai sushi in Tokyo? I have to go back to the shabu shabu place in Okubo before I leave.
