Albanian Cab Madness!

I'm sure at least SpiderMonkey will be shocked to see that the Albanian cab company has changed their logo, or at least their paint work on their cabs.
Close up:
You know it is a sign of the times when even the Albanians are willing to give up their mighty two headed eagle crest in favor of some cartoony people, so grossly anatamically misconceived, wearing funny little hats.
What a shame.
Shame on you Albanians! Shame!

Don't be fooled. Those kappa-esque little people are just an attempt to blend in with the rest of the cabs. The two-headed bird is inside the palanquin.
Also, note the secret hand signal being given by the driver to one of his fellow coconspirators.

I prefer the old school Eastern Bloc version:
(look at faithful Comrade Passenger shaking his fist at the capitalist office buildings he is forced to traverse to attend his Party meeting)
Damn Albanians...

I had the pleasure of riding in a Monkeys Cab in Tokyo yesterday. It's a Jaguar X-type with a little monkey sign on the roof. Riding in style:
We talked with the cab driver and got some deets: there are only 12 Monkeys Cabs and most of them lurk about the Shibuya-Roppongi-Shinagawa triangle. If you find yourself trapped behing Sigma Team lines and need an emergency pick up, you can call them at 03-3858-0410

Yes, but there's some more information just out - that old guy from Hamas was riding in a Monkeys Cab when a helicopter smoked it. I hear that's why there are only 12 of these cabs - lotsa trouble with helicopters...

It seems that another splinter faction has formed within the ranks of the Albanian cabs. This one has adopted a new flag:
And they are issuing their own passports and "mileage" cards:

That's a lot of information to include in a logo on the side of a cab. All those stars and rate information are just there to distract you from the guy in the back seat who's obviously being kidnapped.
