Well I have chatted with most of you about this, but I will soon be making my departure from the ol' Nor'west and be heading back across to the .jp. Spidermonkey of enderzero.net fame will be accompanying me for the first 6 weeks. The rough plan is to spend the first week in Tokyo - followed by a couple weeks of travelling around the country. Hopefully we will be able to make it down to Shikoku and Kyushu (so we should chat Ocean). Then we are going to travel to Indochina and probably do a Vietnam-Laos-Thailand loop. After Spidermonkey departs I plan to stick around in Tokyo and .... well stick around in Tokyo at least.

We will leave Seattle Oct 1st, arriving in Tokyo on the 2nd (thx dateline).

If anyone has any tips for places we need to visit in Japan that may be off the beaten path or maybe a good tatami mat to crash on please lemme know. Goemon has been nice enough to let us stay with him for the first week in Tokyo (although he is demanding I bring contraband equipment with me and install it illegally in his box).

If anyone has pretty much any info on the SE Asian countries I mentioned please post em as well.

And for my Sea-town bros we should attempt to organize some kinda throwin down before October 1st.

Just to be clear, ender. You guys are welcome to crash at our place when we get back to Tokyo too (around Oct. 23rd). Of course, I reserve the right to serve you an eviction at my whim based on trumped up charges of stealing soap from the guest bathroom.

Why don't yous all pile down to Matsuyama - Goemon can stay at his outlaws (or with us for that matter), then we can all go and jump in Dogo Onsen, rip up the town, and drink gallons of milk on the tram home.

I've heard good things about that onsen, Ocean. Appreciate the offer, but don't know if we can possibly travel the same time as carefree, go-where-the-wind-takes-me ender. It's worth some investigating though.

In the meantime: your return is actually not bad timing. I leave the country late Saturday the 4th so this no doubt by then highly strung db will be in for a grog on the Friday. I wont bother posting the intestines of that night out here as you can see it first hand.

I get back from 2 weeks in the epicenter of perfect surf and women on the 18th, so you and ya fuckin' mate are free to crash at my place after that if G-mon comes the raw prawn and evicts you. How does that grab ya? Poofta.
