So many monkeys were up here during my wedding. Granted there was another wedding which seems to have been planned for much longer on the same day. But not one of the monkeys even called. Bastards!! I'm a pissed off monkey. Nobody even called on the following three days before we left for Mexico. You monkeys can just FRIG-OFF!!! Anyway....

I give that trip a 8. A full 2 points and a perfect 10 would have been rewarded had I seen or spoken with J3RK and his J3RK brother just once. Even had I been able to coordinate a meeting of ALL the monkeys, it would've been a very quick one. Between driving from the airport to Lake Chelan, from Lake Chelan to a wedding, from a wedding to a diggins show, and from a Diggins show to Oregon for Lolapollooza, not only am I sure I got my money's worth out of that rental car, but I didn't have a moment to spare the entire four days I was up there. But these events should have been shared by ALL. Lack of communication and coordination was the cause of this major flaw. A one-gallon-challange would've been cool too.
On another note, J3RK...I wanna congratulate you on making such a J3RK move and getting married! I wish you and your wife health and happiness and a house with a big backyard and an apple tree and a set of croquet sticks to make use of those dangling, waiting to be smashed by a wooden mallet, apples.
THANK YOU....

... VERY MUCH!!! Yes, it would have been so very cool to have gotten together. We plan to come down to your area and visit sometime in the near future. We're trying to move right now, so it may be a wee bit. I didn't want to be there for a one gallon challenge, but I did want to hear the results. Perhaps next time
Sounds like you had an action packed trip.

Hey J3RK! Yeah there was a serious lack of communication disease going on all around. I would love to hear how it all went in the next weeks before departure. What is your house status?
Well...

... we were going to move back into the ol' Redmond house, but that is not going to work now. (They put all new carpets in, and lowered the rent $300) But our business partner Marsalus Wallace decided to back out at the last minute, leaving us an Choki without the $$ needed to initially move in. So we're getting a condo or townhouse for a little bit so we can save money to purchase a house. Anyway, for now we're in the same spot... (Hopefully that will change the day you guys leave though...)

I was one damn fine monkey who attended regardless of having to enudure mildly severe pain from serious impact trauma from three fractured bones. Pain would rate at at 3.14 on the l2icks0r! pain scale of 1-10!!!
However I can certainly understand the fact that the other wedding had prcedence since the date was declared long beforehand.
I would also suspect that coordination of dates was compromised by lack of communication since leaving a message at ye olde useless phone number of 425-254-0721 is an absolute exercise in futility when it comes to expecting a response.
