Well? I seem to remember that 'liberal' was a dirty word a few years ago...

Who likes George Bush still?

Who now likes Mister Obama?

Wow talk about a surprise to show up at the graveyard of forum.enderzero.net and find a new post for the esteemed Ocean 11.

Liberal was never a bad word for me (it's clearly displayed on my facebook page and if that isn't a canonical test, what is?). However, the great shift that has taken place over the last year to 18 months in this country cannot be denied. I'd still go so far as to say most democrats shy away from the moniker of "liberal" but they arern't shy about showing off their donkey tattoos. The most important term in American politics today is "pragmatism." I pinch myself every time I hear Obama give one of his level-headed and concise speeches. Thank the heavens we have a boss who uses his head.

What's the view from abroad (and welcome back)?

I thought it was weird when Obama said Michael Steele was "in the hizzy - what's up?" in the same speech where he made a joke about Dick Cheney writing memoirs about "How to shoot friends and interrogate people."
