Someone just did a "list your top games of '07" thread on the HardForum... I was unable to think of any good game that came out this year, so I had to list my top games "as of" '07. I believe they more or less go like this:

My top list "as of" 2007.

System Shock
System Shock 2
Doom 3
Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay
Quake 4
Ultima 8
Star Control 2
Ultima 7 (Complete)
Halflife 2
Quake 3
Ultima 9 (once patched, properly configured, and fan updates installed)
Oblivion
Al Qadim

Anyone play Shadowrun or know if it is good? What was on their list of bests of 07?

I always wanted to play the original, and had high hopes for the sequel.

Absolutely retarded from everything I've seen and read. Very few people seem to enjoy it. I've heard that it's been dumbed down to the point of being a buggy, uninteresting, Daikatana-grade shooter. It also seems to have very little support from the developers. I'd avoid it.

I didn't search for the Shadowrun bashing thread though. It was a while back (closer to the games release.)

I have S.T.A.L.K.E.R. but I don't know how the MP is. I haven't even gotten into the SP yet. It's definitely a cool game, but I'm saving it for when I'm not into anything else, and need something to get into.
